Christmas Morning, 2008

"Hmmm?" DStone said groggily, opening his eyes to his computer. The story had just been uploaded to the site and he once again fell asleep at his desk when the intercom buzzed a second time. Hesitantly, he pressed the receiver to hear what news was on the other end. "Hello?"

"Merry Christmas sir!" a cheerful voice said over the box, causing the author to jump about ten feet into the air in his chair. "I hope you didn't stay up too late writing that latest chapter!"

The boy rubbed his eyes, still trying to wake up from his rude awakening. Looking out of the window from his office at Studio 6, he saw that a blanket of snow covered the whole backlot, with various side characters throwing snowballs at each other. Is this another dream?

"Candi..." he said, drinking a cold cup of hot chocolate, left over from last night. "What day is it again?"

"What day is it?! It's Christmas silly! December 25th, you know? We have you scheduled to upload Chapter 7 of Lucky and you were supposed to write a Holiday Special for the readers."

"Holiday Special?!" the boy asked wildly, looking back on the site to see a edited version of "Twas the Night Before Christmas" uploaded on his account. "Okay, I really have to get my act together next year then."

"Indeed sir. What stories will you include next year, might I ask?" Candi said cheerfully over the intercom.

"Unexpected Love, for sure. Everyone loves that cast. I'm hoping that Lucky won't take up to a year to write, so perhaps add some new characters from the next story that I decide to write."

"Very well. Enjoy the snow, sir! I hear that Chad is building an army to have a snowball fight against the Sharks from Jay's Hall down by Studio 13." Candi said before cutting off. The boy went back to the computer screen, drinking his cup of cold hot chocolate. "Until next year, Readers."

Christmas Eve, 2009

DStone sits in the same office, hanging a certificate that says "NaNoWriMo Winner, 2009" next to his various hit milestones for his first two stories. Another snowstorm hits the studio backlot, causing him to be locked in his office until the winds die down. Fortunately, there is company.

"Sir?" Candi asks, walking into the office to find the boy looking out the window at the dark snow. "Do you know what day it is today?"

"Christmas Eve." the author replies, unenthusiastically. "And once again, I have nothing to write about."

"I'm sorry to hear that, sir." she said, taking a seat in front of the desk. "At least you won that contest this year."

The boy looks over at the wall and walks towards the certificate, sighing as he touches the frame. "Yes, but I can't use anything from Lily... The Readers don't know the characters at all. It's not practical."

"That is true, sir." she said, getting up from her seat. She walks over to the author, handing him a sheet of paper. The boy looks at it in confusion.

"What is this?" he asked, looking back at his secretary.

"It is a Christmas List from your characters. Believe it or not, these two years have not been pleasant on them and due to the influence that you brought upon them, they all believe in Santa Claus."

"You must be joking." he said, looking over the list. "A bunch of teenage high-school students believe in Santa and they wrote letters to him?"

"I'm afraid so, sir. You should really watch what you write sometimes." Candi said, stepping back towards the desk.

"Thank you for delivering this to me Candi, you can go home now." he said, sitting back at his desk.

"I can't... I'm as snowed in as you are sir." she said, starting to shiver from the cold of the office.

"Well, go to the cafeteria and make us some hot chocolate please. I need to play Santa for this boy and girls right now."

"Yes, sir. I'll be right back." she replied, stepping out of the room. The boy sat at the desk, looking over the sheets of paper, each own handwritten by the characters he has written about. Flipping to the first page, he reads the first letter.

Dear Santa,

I've been a very good boy this year with the awesome new iPod touch you gave me last Christmas. I have helped with my friend John in his project for the year. It's taken him quite some time to finish, but I'm hoping that you'll make sure that he isn't working on Christmas Day because I know that he really wants to be with his girl, Nicky.

All of my friends are fine and everything has been really good here, with us not doing anything wrong. I always make sure that I'm with the right people and ever since that incident on the set, nothing else has happened.

Since I know that you watch everything, I'm sure that you are aware of my love for Rock Band and that I love to play my new Rock Band 2 game everyday for at least an hour. So, I'm asking for a 4000 Microsoft Points card for Christmas to buy a bunch more songs for my library. I know that is a lot compared to the toys you usually make, but I'm sure that your little elves can get quite a discount on it through some sort of secret Christmas site, right?

Adding on to that, I also want the new Beatles: Rock Band game. I never have been a big fan of The Beatles, but it sounds like a really fun game especially since it's Rock Band and all. If you could add a Beatles Discography to that as well, it would be great. That way I don't look like a total idiot when I'm singing in the Solo Tour. Plus, you could throw the new Lego: Rock Band game in there as well, since they have some new songs that sound really fun to play. I've always been a big fan of Legos and I really want to play the game to see what it's like. If you could also foot the price for the export into Rock Band 2, that would be great as well. I know that I'm asking a lot this Christmas, but I really want to have some fun with my friends this Christmas because that's what Christmas is all about, right? Having fun with your friends?

Please consider my choices...

- Dave

P.S. If you could throw in a Rock Band Bandmate of Kat, that would be wicked cool as well. It's been a few years since I've seen her and... I want something happy to remember her by.

As the author finished the letter, his secretary Candi steps back in the office with two mugs of hot chocolate, placing one on his desk. The boy thanks her and takes a quite sip of the warm cup of hot chocolate. Looking back over the boy's letter, he places the rest on his desk and looks at the girl, sipping her mug of hot chocolate, filled to the brim with marshmallows.

"Yes, sir?" she asked before taking another sip.

"Nothing, Candi." he said, spinning around to look out the window at the dark snow again. "It's just going to be a long night."

And with that sentence, he sat back in the chair and began reading the other letters that were delivered to him.

Dear Santa,

All I want for Christmas is for a little peace on this set. We've been sitting back while the other two stories take center stage and we haven't gotten much time, with the book signings and public appearances, not to mention our cameos in their Reader Appreciations. It would be great if this Christmas, we could all get together and share a nice cup of hot chocolate and completely forget all this madness that has been happening this year.

To Santa,

This Christmas, I want a new story for us to do! It's been two years since the first one and all we have been doing is helping the others with their stories and everything. It would be really cool if the Author could make a Prequel to the events in our first story in the New Year so we have a reason to still be on the set. I mean, with the story done, we are just sitting around until one of us is called for a Reader Appreciation or something. It would be a great way to lift everyone's spirits for the next year and I'm sure that Dave will love being center stage again. Maybe you should fid a way to cut down on his limelight and bring a background character to the stage. Christmas is the time for giving, right?

- Tim.

All I want for Christmas is to rule the world. Or if that's too much, to be able to torment my good friends like Dave and Jojo. They've missed my criticism while I was away and I want to be able to give them a whole new year filled with my insight, especially if Dave is in another story.

I've been a very good girl this year! I haven't killed anyone in the last month and I kept the total rate under 50! I say that's very good, don't you?

Anyways, what I want for Christmas this year is JOSH! Sweet loveable Josh! I mean, he does know me but it would be incredibly nice if you could work some magic for me to have him. Otherwise I'll have to use the wet noodles, which weren't used in the story for some reason. I think they would have made a good addition! Jacob didn't agree, something about not stooping to Michelle's level or something.

Speaking of Michelle, who I hope isn't too mad at me killing her. It was Dave that pushed her into me. So, it's his entire fault! He's the bad one! Not me! I hope that we could be better friends next year. I think we could get along if it weren't for the whole Kat incident. And her best friend Derek, I wish that you would bring him a duck suit! He would look just like his brother Joey! It would be so hard holding back the urge to roast him in the oven in my Chemistry class. I wonder why they have such a large oven there in the first place.

Anyways, I have to go now Santa! The mailman is about to take the letter and it is Thursday after all. BYE!

Princess Kairi 3

I don't want much for Christmas. Just that my friends, Michelle and Sean are happy this season. Christmas is the time for everyone to be with their friends and I hope that we do get to spend a bit of time before the drill of our work takes us back again.

I wish nothing but the worst on Dave, Paige, and Tim. They're low-lives who would rather end up ruin other people's lives than living their own. Please keep Dave away from Michelle; he's no good for her. I'm sure that she could find any other guy more deserving then him! Let him be with that stupid Kat girl or something. He has no business being with Michelle.

- Derek

I've been a very good boy this year! I want Halo 3 ODST, Assassin's Creed 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Rock Band 2, Bioshock 2, and for Chad to come and visit his old friends next summer. Thank you!

Yours truly,

Konnichiwa Santa-san!

I haven't been the best girl this year, but I hope that I still get a present from you. I don't really want much this Christmas, just for my family and friends to be happy. I don't need a Wii or a DS or anything, just for the holiday cheer to stay a little longer than a month. I mean, why should we stop caring for our friends once the season ends? We need to care for them for every day is a gift to love and live.

Although, if there was one gift you could give… it's for Dave to forgive me. I know I did some really bad things to his life and I'm probably hurting him more than anything, but… I do really want to be with him. Kat might be the perfect girl for him, but he doesn't love her! He loves the idea of her! If I ended up hella good at Rock Band and loved Pocky as much as she did, he would love me too! He's… not the brightest guy when it comes to relationships. I've been with him since elementary and he has really bad tastes in girls. It's basically any girl willing to say 'I love you' to him. -sigh- I do wish I was that girl again. Maybe, by some Christmas miracle, you could make the author write a story where Dave and I fall in love… like we did before that Kat girl showed up. It's… one thing I do really want, if Derek didn't hate Dave so much.

P.S. Please give my love to dear Adam as well and I hope that he's doing well wherever he is.

Hey Santa,

I don't want much for Christmas, just for it to not be so cold up here! I think I would be better off coming back down to San Maria, but there's not much to offer down there. Maybe if there was another story or something, but there's not much else there and it's pretty fun up here but way too fucking cold!

- Rooster455 (Chad)

To Santa,

I don't want much for Christmas, considering I have pretty much everything that I want. Make sure that the guys don't get caught for that Kat incident and that boy doesn't spill the story on everything. It wouldn't be terribly bad, just the story isn't that good to write in the first place.

Dear Santa,

I'm not totally sure what I want for Christmas this year. I hope that my Dave and his friends are doing well and that those friends of Michelle get what's coming to them. Honestly, that girl is a little confused on the meaning of 'love.' You do not kill to be loved. It's ridiculous that she had to fend off three of her own friends before killing me. I think if there's anyone deserving of a Christmas miracle, it's her. I mean, she needs to find a better way to deal with her love and emotions rather than charging at a guy who she knows is already taken. Perhaps a nice Christmas boyfriend would be good for her, that way we don't fight over Dave this Christmas.

Yours truly,
