Up The Duff by a Werewolf: A Special Reunion
3 Months Later
Three months ago, I found out I was pregnant. Three months ago I wasn't the size of a cow.
Well I may be exaggerating, but this kid is huge. Just yesterday, Marissa and I were looking up women who were three months pregnant, and I dwarfed all of their stomachs. Mine is at least twice as big as theirs. My doctor found it odd as well, considering I was only three months pregnant but with a belly the size of a pregnant woman who was six months in gestation.
"Yep," my Doctor nodded his head, "he's going to be a big one. No doubt about that." I just groaned and rubbed my stomach, silently cursing the child within me.
"Coralie!" My step-father, Paul, called as I pulled my hair up in a ponytail. We were off to see my doctor again because I'd been having odd pains in my abdomen, which I found quite annoying.
"Yes?" I called while tugging on one of Paul's large sweatshirts.
"Someone is at the door for you!" He called back, I furrowed my brows. Who could possibly be here to see me on a Monday night? I mean it couldn't be Marissa; I had just talked to her on the phone a few minutes ago. And she had no transportation—
"Coralie, your friend is waiting." I heard my mother call. Whoops, I must've been daydreaming again.
I slowly went down the stairs, a small smile on my face for my visitor. Just as I turned the corner to head into the foyer, I smelt something familiar.
I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw who was at the front door. Oh my God.
"Hello there." A very deep and masculine voice called to me.
It was the hot dude. In my house, right there. I quietly took in his appearance. Shaggy long-ish black hair, warm golden-brown eyes, nice smile, and clad in a tightly fitted leather jacket and dark washed jeans.
"Nice shoes." That was all I could muster after a few minutes of complete silence? Nice shoes? I had so many questions like, how he knew where I lived, if he was the father of my child, and if he was why didn't he see me sooner?
I saw the corners of his mouth lift up a little, "Is that all you can say after three months without seeing me? Nice shoes? No, 'Oh, hey. I'm sorry I vanished after having the best night of my life with you.' Seeing as how I was looking everywhere for a beautiful blonde girl who escaped my bed and me, for three months."
"Well for the past three months, I've been carrying your child. And I didn't even know who you were. So don't blame me. Oh just a little tidbit, I'm underage."
"Oh? Is that so? Well, how did you get into the club then, Coralie? Because I'm awfully surprised that you're underage when you told me you were twenty." He smirked and I felt my face flush.
"Leave please. I can't handle this right now. My doctor says if I have too much stress, it will affect the baby." I murmured running a hand through my long golden locks in frustration.
"I have a feeling the p—baby will be fine." I frowned at the smirk on his face that never wavered. "Why aren't you in school, Coralie?"
"I'm being homeschooled by my step-father; he's a professor at the local University, but he's taking a year off to home school me." My biological father didn't want my secret to leak out, and since he is the owner of a big production company it could ruin his career media wise. So he was paying Paul to tutor me for the entire year, including a large sum of money to spice up the deal.
"Interesting," He said to me before looking at something behind me. I turned around also, only to see nothing at all. "You are three months pregnant, am I right?" He turned his eyes back on me, and my knees instantly turned into jelly, so I took a seat on one of the plush single chairs behind me.
"Yeah," I breathed, trying not to stare to long at his handsome face.
"...May I touch you?"
I froze, touch my bloated baby belly or touch me in an 'I want you now' kind of way, because I wouldn't mind either option.
"S-sure." I stuttered in a moment of pure physical awe. The hot dude wanted to touch me? Fat, bloated me?
He came closer, and I could smell his warm scent instantly. It reminded me of camping with Paul when I was younger, pine needles and clean drizzling rain, mixed with a little bit of an earthy kind of smell.
He knelt in front of me and put his hands on my stomach, his big hands covering half of my bourgeoning baby belly.
"Amazing, I can feel his strength already." The hot dude whispered quietly as if trying not to say it out loud for me to hear, which I did.
"Excuse me? His strength?"
"It's nothing." He murmured leaning in closer to place his ear on my stomach. "Two heartbeats, except one of them is rapidly getting higher..." He chucked softly and my face flushed again. It was true, and I could feel my heartbeat quicken even more when he pressed a soft kiss to my stomach.
"Umm, you have to go. I have a Doctor's appointment." I whispered, pushing his head off me. I had some serious issues, because this was the guy that didn't protect himself and ended up getting me preggers. I can't seriously be falling for his charms already.
"Paul?" I called out when I pushed myself up, yanking my arms from the hot dude's grasp when he attempted to help me.
"Yes, sweetie? What is it?" Paul called, coming from the kitchen. I saw Paul's hair all mussed up and I shuddered lightly, knowing what my parents did behind my back.
"We can go now. I'm starting to feel the pains again." I felt a sharp jab-like pain on my abdomen and I winced slightly.
"I can take her." The hot dude said, his body gravitating toward me, I quickly moved away.
Paul looked at us questioningly before replying, "Coralie, who exactly is this man to you?"
"He's—"
"—the father of her child."
I heard a crashing sound in the kitchen, and my mother came strolling out with an upset look on her face.
"You're the man who got my daughter pregnant?" She fumed, clenching her fists.
"Yes. But I think you've got it all wrong. You see—"
"No, no. I know the whole story. But the fact is, is that you didn't use protection and that—" She pointed at me, "is the outcome. Are you ready to raise a child?"
"Yes, I am." His deep baritone voice said to my stunned mother, determination clearly shown on his face.
"You also realize that she is seventeen and underage, right?"
He smiled, "I think she made that clear to me earlier."
"Well, Coralie. Go put on your jacket. It's a little chilly outside. I don't want you to catch a cold. Paul, can you help me prepare dinner?" My mother smiled softly while looking at hot dude. "I didn't catch your name..."
"It's Deaton Phillips, Mrs. Havens." His smile was charming, and I saw my mother blush at the simple gesture. I just looked from my mother to Deaton with pure shock and confusion written on my face.
"Are you kidding me?!" I shrieked earning odd glances in my direction. "This is the guy who got me pregnant and you're letting him bring me to the doctors?"
"Well, sweetie he looks like a good and stable man, quite handsome as well."
Deaton smiled and I frowned before turning to him, "Why didn't you see me sooner if you knew where I lived?"
"Coralie, I only found out only yesterday where you were residing at, and as soon as I had found out. I took a plane from New York, to here in Salt Lake."
I looked down and blushed. God, I feel like the biggest idiot, I thought and ran a hand through my hair.
"Well, how did you find out?" Paul asked, earning a small slap on the shoulder from my mother, "I was just asking..." He then murmured to my frowning mother.
"No, it's fine. I have a friend who is very talented with computers. He helped me find the address to this house. Although, I had to wait quite a while before I finally found him. He doesn't exactly like me..."
"Well, you must really like my baby girl." My mom winked and nudged Paul in the stomach, who didn't understand what my mother was implying.
"Mom!" I hissed at her and she laughed.
"I don't get it." Paul frowned, but Deaton laughed along with my mother.
"Never mind, dear. Let's just go start dinner so when the kids get home we can eat." I glared at Deaton; I felt a newfound hatred for this man now that he has found a way to charm my parents.
I grabbed my coat and tugged it on roughly, earning an odd glace from Deaton and yanked the door open. I walked, no more like waddled, toward his rental car in anger. I was surprised to see a Volvo XC60 parked on my driveway and was even more surprised when Deaton opened the car door for me.
"How did you do it?" I asked him once we were out of the drive way.
He looked over at me with a confused expression, "Sorry? Do what, exactly?"
"Charm my parents like that. How'd you do it?"
I saw him shrug and turn the heater up a little, "I have that effect on people."
"Well, it doesn't work on me." I murmured and crossed my arms over my stomach.
I heard him laugh lightly before it got all quiet, "Why are we going to the doctors so late?"
"Trying to bring less attention to myself and the baby. My father is, after all, paying my step-father to teach me instead of letting me go to my last year in high school. Might as well throw in not being seen by anybody in Salt Lake. I can't even see my friends at school, only Marissa."
"Your father sounds like an asshole."
I snorted and shook my head, "He's more than an asshole. He's a scum-bag pedophile who is a fucking bastard on top of being an asshole."
"Pedophile?" Denton asked with a small frown.
"He's engaged to a woman, nineteen years his junior."
"Coralie, I might as well be considered a pedophile as well. I'm twenty-four years old. That's eight years your senior. But the fact is, is that I could go to jail for what I've done." Denton murmured, wrapping his fingers around the steering wheel a little tighter than usual.
I pursed my lips and looked out the window. I wasn't going to saying anything if he was going to take everything I said and twist it around to make me feel guilty.
"I'm sorry." I mumbled finally, after another moment of silence.
"It's alright. I mean, we can't erase what's already been done."
"Do you regret it? You know, sleeping with me?"
I felt him stare at me and I pulled my jacket around me a little tighter. "When I found out I didn't. But sometimes I get this bad feeling in my stomach that this isn't going to end well."
I had that exact feeling too, only this time I wasn't the only one who felt that way.
A/N: I couldn't wait to post this chapter. I have to say that I actually enjoyed how Coralie reacted to Denton. But if I actually saw him myself, I'd die of a heart attack at how handsome he sounds. Haha. Well, I hope you enjoyed this chapter as much as I liked writing it.
