Aviating Naturalization

vroom. vroom.
my ears pitch with these cars driving by
my arms widely spread limbs feeling wry
caution to the winds words to the sky

coated by night every atom in sight
fists gripping motion blood turning steel

oh what a feeling it is!

being smothered in flight
with nothing but landscape in sight-
seeing cities and suburbs
cluttered colors etchings highlighted
cars parked crooked imagery ignited

oh how I wish life was more!

when words can't explain
the tears of a man
or the hues of a tree
the movement of clouds
the colors of ink
the grip of this pen
the gravity persisting
this transition insisting
that i stay fixating
at what is seen from ground
level

but I don't want to dream with the others
or feel the handshakes of formality
no more anguish no more sorrow
let's get lifted stay high tonight
