A/n: Well I cried writing this one. Please review. I have to actually write more now. And if you could, tell me a character's POV you think I should write from. Your input is appreciated.

He pulled into the driveway of my house. "This is your stop." He sighed, looking down.

I didn't get out.

"Do you still want me to move in with you?" he asked abruptly.

"You can if you want." I replied.

"I might just take you up on that." He smiled, taking the keys out of the ignition.

"Really?" I smiled, turning to look at him.

"Do you still think I'm an idiot?" He asked, raising his eyebrows.

I blushed and looked down. "No," I muttered, "I'm sorry."

He laughed and kissed my forehead. "I do agree with you on one hand. I was stupid to act so immature with my brother. Kyle deserves… motivation. I've gotten everything." He sighed, getting out.

"Jared…" I whispered, looking at him painfully.

He looked at me and scrutinized my face.

"How can I help?" I asked, walking toward him.

"You've done more than enough. All you need to do is clean off your face, and help me with my stuff. Ah! I know, get Amber to move in with Kyle. It's perfect! Then he won't be alone and…" he muttered, walking in circles.

I looked at him and then at my house. There was a figure inside. I didn't see the face, just the body. "Jared?" I asked, walking next to him.

"Hold on a sec…" he replied, rubbing his chin.

"Jared?" I asked impatiently.

"I'm on the verge of a-" he snapped. Then something shot between us.

I screamed and scrambled backwards.

"What the hell?" he shouted, looking at the house.

I caught my balance on a nearby tree and looked at him. Another shot fired and hit the tree, making me scream again and jump.

"Run Jess, run!" he shouted, running at me.

I started to run but a woman emerged in front of me; I skidded to a halt.

She smiled and folded her arms.

"No." Jared whispered, pulling me close to him.

"It's not your choice, kid. She's going with us and that's that." A male voice boomed from behind us.

"Unless you'd rather her die here…?" Jocelyn asked.

Jared's jaw clenched and I saw movement behind them.

"Kyle!" I hissed, too low for her to hear.

"Don't whisper!" Jocelyn growled.

Then arms wrapped around her throat and Kyle was on top of her. BOOM! A shot fired. Jocelyn got out from under him and shook herself off.

I gasped and put my hands over my mouth. Tears pooled in my eyes and I began to sob. "Jocelyn! He's your brother! How- could- you?" Jared cried, hugging my closely.

"I never liked him anyway." She shrugged.

I could barely make out what they were saying.

Kyle hadn't moved; he was dead.

"I was going to take her now, but I think I'll let her live with an emotional scar for a while. I'll be back later." She smiled, running off with John into the woods.

"Damn it." Jared shouted. He pulled me along with him to Kyle's side.

"Kyle?" he shouted, shaking him.

I cried harder.

He was lying on his stomach and his face was away from me. The hole where the blood leaked was visible on his chest.

I looked over and Jared was gone.

"My brother's been shot!" he shouted, jogging over with the phone.

End Book One.

Now, please review and tell me whose POV to write from?? I'm not sure.
