I looked deep into his eyes and opened my mouth to reveal something so precious that I'd hope he'd remember these memories just like I do,
"Every touch you give me, I shiver. .."
"Hey! I was waiting for you! Where were you?! Where's that punk?! I'm going to be-"
I gripped onto his shirt and hugged him. It took a long pause before he snapped into reality again. He put his arms around my waist; I shivered even without making contact with skin. He held onto me so tightly right on his front porch and I was grateful to have him here with me…
"Every word you say, I listen. .."
I laughed as he glared at me. "Pay attention Miss. Clark!" I looked at his angry face and nodded mutely. I saw him looking at me from across the room and I put my head down. Afterschool, I went to Mr. Schiwik's class. I overheard 'him' talking to Mr. Schiwik. "Don't punish her for something she can't concentrate on."
I looked at Mr. Schiwik from the open door, "Why do you care for such a brat?" At that, He snapped, "She is not a brat! She is a very wonderful girl! I take full responsibility for all her actions now." They stood there in silence. I turned around to the main entrance and felt my breath exhale. I didn't know I was holding my breath.
After that day, I started listening more to Mr. Schiwik and every other teacher in class. I never interrupted once or talking during class at all.
"Every look you send me, I blush. .."
"Hey! He's looking at you across the lunchroom again! Its like he can't take his eyes of you!" exclaimed my best friend. I turned to look at who was looking at me. It was him. I started blushing wild as we made eye contact for a long period of time. I turned hastily around to see my best friend looking at me with amused eyes, "Hey…Your face is red." She started laughing.
"Every smell you wear, I smile . .."
I took a big whiff of his smell as we hugged for a long time, "You smell nice…"
He started hysterically laughing and I smiled happy to see my boyfriend laughing with a bright expression on his face because of me, "I'm a drug." I smiled, "Yes you are…but drugs don't smell nice."
He looked at me and started laughing again.
"Every joke you tell me, I crack up. .."
He looked at me ready to tell me something, "Yo mama so fat when she steps on a scale, it read "one at a time, please," I started laughing so hard I almost pissed myself, "My cheeks hurt! Stop! I'm going to piss myself!" I groaned in pain as I looked up to see an amused expression on his face and opened his mouth to tell me another joke, I groaned.
"Every hairstyle you have, I compliment. .."
As I turned around from my locker with a stack full of textbooks ready to go home, I saw his new hairstyle and my eyes popped out, "HOLY SHIT!" I dropped my books and it made a loud "KABOOM!"I started laughing my but off. He smiled at my face because he knew I'd say that after his…what? Seventh haircut? "So…When are you going to stop cutting your hair?" I asked still looking at his ugly fohawk.
"When you start complimenting me!" He smiled with his dimples showing. I smiled, "Fine then. You look so adorable and cute," Then I gave him a sweet peck on the lips and he stood there in shock.
"IM NOT CUTE!"
"Every posture you have, I make fun of. .."
He stood outside waiting for me everyday like usual but this time he wasn't there like before… I got a little worried until I saw him sitting on the swing like a little girl. I squatted down enough to see him closely. His eyes were closed and I knew he'd fallen asleep. I laughed quietly, "You sit like a girl."
I stood up slowly so my lips were just a few inches away from each other until he woke up and smashed his lips onto mine instead. I pulled back slowly and touched my lips. Such a tingling feeling, "So…What'd you say?" I smiled at his innocent face, "You sit like a girl!" He stood up with a fake angry face. I ran quickly away laughing as he chased me around the swings.
"Every secret you whisper, I promise. .."
I received a text from him so I ran across the street to his front porch seeing him sitting there broken…I quickly rushed in front of him and put my arms around his neck. He leaned his head on my stomach.
I sighed as I sat on the gross with his head on my knees lying down. He talked about what happened, "They just never shut up…arguing and arguing." He growled, I soothed him by running my fingers back and forth on his hair. "They just never stop shouting loud enough to make me want to run away. Everything changed after I started to grow. I hate myself for ever growing up! I wish I was never born. I love them both a lot that I'm even afraid to lose them…" I leaned down and pecked his lips and whispered, "Crying can heal you sometimes…" He looked at me softly and cried. I listened to him and whispered to him softly, "I promise you…I won't tell a single soul because I love you. I will always be here even if something bad happens," I squeezed his hand and he squeezed back tightly.
"Every emotion you hide, I reveal. .."
I looked straight into his eyes and saw that he had put a mask over his face like always. Either sad or mad, he'd always put on a mask to hide it away. I frowned…"Why are you sad?" He asked. "Cause your hiding yourself again! Just like before. After. And now!" I shouted in exasperation. His eyes widened and before I knew it his mask broke into half. All his emotion became so clear to me, "I'm sorry." With that, I found myself being hugged by him. I smiled softly, "I forgive you…just stop hiding from me, please? I'm here no matter what." I felt him nod and I hugged back.
"Every call you give me, I love. .."
I woke straight up to my cell phone's ringtone "My life would suck without you". I groaned loudly trying to find my phone without spilling anything, "Who calls in this damn morning?!" I looked at the clock with my blurry vision, 4:32AM. I glared at my phone, "Hello?!" I shouted in misery. I was so tired after that insane party my parents threw with there friends. I didn't get any sleep at all, "Hi….Did I wake you up again? HAHA!"
Always trying to wake me up, "ITS 4:33AM IN THE MORNING! WHAT DO YOU THINK?" He started laughing, "My bad!" I tried to find a comfy position on my bed, "Tell me a story please?" He stopped laughing and said, "Sure. I heard your parents partying with mine even from across the neighborhood. Our parents really know how to party. Why didn't you come over to my house if you couldn't sleep?"
"Nah…Didn't want to wake you up as well. Now, tell me a story." So, he did, "Once upon a time there was a princess named…"
Every memory we had, I cherished. ..
"Wahhh!" I laughed in joy as I tackled him to the ground but got pulled onto the ground myself. "You little girl! I'm going to eat you!" I got on my knees and started to quickly get up. Until, I got pulled to the ground again. Then he poked me on my sides and I jumped up, "I found your weakness! Tickle tickle!" I kept rolling way but he just rolled with me and kept tickling me, "HA! Stop! HAHA! WAIT! HA"
Finally, he stopped tickling me. I was panting while he was smiling down at me.
Every dream you want, I help. ..
His parents had found out he wanted to be an artist instead of a football player, "Why are you quitting your dream of being a football player?! Did that girl do something to you?" I snapped before he did, "I know I shouldn't get involved but too bad. I watched you two argue and argue everyday and make him sad! Do you not know what is going on with your own son's life?! He doesn't like football. Never did, never will. I might've done something to him and I might've not. But I love your son a lot and I'm not going to stand here watching you insult me and him."
His dad was furious while his mother calmed down a bit, "Then why the hell did he join in the first place?!" I looked straight into his eyes with a smile, "Because you made him and wanted him to. You never listened to your son once complain about it have you? It's not his dream it's yours," He looked taken back a bit and looked at his son. I held onto his hands and he squeezed back, "I am grateful that I have a girl friend who wants to help me with my dreams instead of my own parents. If you don't love my dreams and hopes, then you don't love me. At all."
I squeezed his hands and looked up at him. His mother spoke up, "We love you and always have. I'm sorry for making you listen to our arguments and fights but we don't know what else to do… It's hard." This time I looked at her and smiled softly, "You don't need to work yourself and think that you need to do something." I hesitated at first but then I hugged her. I looked sideways at his dad and noticed that he was watching softly at his wife. I gave his wife to him and he said, "We accept you and your dreams son. So, be happy with life and we will too. As for you young lady, Thank you…" I nodded and gave him a warm hug, which he accepted.
I looked up at him and he smiled warmly. I gave him a big hug, "Thank you for helping…" I smiled at his words.
Every kiss when our lips touch, I stop breathing. ..
I looked up at him. His lips were just a few inches away from mine. He looked down at my lips and leaned down to kiss me. It wasn't hard or needy. It was sweet and a tingly feeling was on my lips. It felt like it was just me and him. It was like a miracle happened.
He pulled away slowly and put his forehead against mine as we panted for air, "Oh god… I love you." I smiled softly at his choice of words and we dove in for another kiss.
Every date we have, I remember. ..
We walked out of McDonalds with our hands intertwined together. I laughed at our fifteenth date? More? This time it was his turn to pick our date and he chose McDonalds, "This is by far our most funniest date ever!" He laughed too. At first, we started throwing fries at each other until we had no more left. Then I started eating my burger and noticed there was no salad in there. I looked at my box and noticed it all fell. He started laughing hard until he spilled his coke on the floor, "We make an odd couple…" He looked at me, "Don't they last for a short time?" I looked at him with a smile, "No. They last for eternity," Then he leaned down to kiss me.
Every second sitting here, I wait. ..
I was so nervous just waiting to see how I look like with this fat white dress on… I closed my eyes going out of the stall, "You look beautiful…"
Every hug I get from you, I feel. ..
It was our last hug before it started. I didn't want to let go of him…
"I want to be with you so much that I'm willing to hold onto you forever," I laughed softly at his words. "Have I told you I love you lately?" He groaned lightly playfully, "Many times and I want to hear it over and over again." Then I'll start now, "I love you! I love you so much…"
He laughed softly as I kept repeating it until he shut me up with a kiss.
Every moment at this church, I look at you. ..
The doors opened as I stepped in, all eyes on me with my dad holding onto me. Butterflies were forming as I looked at the love of my life waiting for me at the end of this aisle. He smiled at me and I returned it with a full teeth one…one that I've managed to reveal from such along time ago. I looked all around me, seeing all my classmates' faces and many relatives I couldn't wait to see. On the other side was his family…I couldn't wait to meet them as well.
Every word in your vows, I do. ..
I listened to every word in his vows and smiled at every memory he brought up. All the ups and downs. A tear slipped down my face…a happy one. He saw it and flashed his dimples.
How we met till now, you always have loved. ..
I looked across my lawn to his lawn. I saw him playing with rocks chucking them on the road. I waked slowly up to him avoiding the rocks. He saw me but tried to hide it. Me with my pig tails and him with his shorts and t-shirt on a sunny day. I tapped his shoulders and squatted beside him, "Hi! I'm…"
Me for me. ..
"Sara James." He looked at me and I softly smiled at him. His eyes widened, "What's your name?" He looked at me softly and spoke, "Aiden…Aiden Hansen." I smiled at him and suddenly he hugged me, "My mommy and daddy are yelling…"
My big eyes widened and I hugged him back, "I don't have a mommy. Come with me, my daddy made cookies." He pulled away and smiled with dimples, "Okay." I held his hand and crossed the street to my house where we ate chocolate cookies with milk.
He looked at me and smiled with his two dimples showing as I remembered, "I remember." And with that, he pulled me in for a passionate kiss. I smiled against the kiss and everyone clapped, cheered and some even cried in awe.
