When the World Ends

As the wind brings her stormy friends,
As the mountains start to shake,
As the rocks fall down around us,
As ashes fall in our wake.

We'll survive this storm together,
And eruptions and earthquakes too,
Because even if the world ends one day,
You'll have me and I'll have you.

Author's Note: this might sound a bit cliche. Actually it probably does sound really cliche, but I'm feeling nostalgic and this poem really is true. This could be for good friends, lovers, family.... in my case I wrote it thinking of some fabulous friends.
