A/N: I do not own the fictional character known as "Major Tom", nor do I profit from anything David Bowie or Peter Schilling related. Thought I might say that. I never want to be sued.

Floating Space Man ( Where Do I Belong )

Up there in the vast space,
Is a man, without a trace.
Who knows where he goes,
Who knows where he's been.
At home, he is a hero,
But out there in subzero,
A space man is floating,
And thinking all within.

"Where do I go next,
Where do I belong.
The earth is so complex,
I need to go back, all along.
My spaceship is all but gone,
But back to her, oh, I am drawn,
It is time...
To go home."

"Oh, Major Tom, where did you go?
All I want, is just to know,
Will you ever come back to the Earth?

I can show you just how much you're worth..."

He took his chance,
He'd made his move.
And through the atmosphere,
He wanted to prove,
That he still loved her...
He put up a fight,
It started to split,
And as the spaceship burnt,
He wasn't gonna' quit,
He felt like he made it...

"Where do I go next,
Where do I belong.
The earth is so complex,
I need to go back, all along.
My spaceship is all but gone,
But back to her, oh, I am drawn,
It is time...
To go home."

Down on earth,
People looked up at the sky.
Fire rained down,
And the people wondered why.

Media said, 'a meteor shower from above.'

A message arrived the other day,
In the most unusual way.
And then she peered at the stars,
"What did he want to say?"

Opened up the letter, "Give my wife my love."

( slow mellow guitar solo, that turns slighty into hardcore... )

"Where do I go next,
Where do I belong.
The earth is so complex,
I am back, but not for long.
My spaceship kept me alive,
Thank you: you let me arrive,
Back to earth.
Welcome home."

( Going crazy on the guitar )
