My crutches

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had. Friends, to me, mean everything. My friends are always there to support me when I have fallen, they make me laugh when all I can do is cry, and they know me better than anyone else. "Friendship is the only cure for hatred, the only guarantee for peace." Gandhi

A best friend is someone who knows all about you, good and bad, and still loves you for who you are. If someone has hurt me, in any way, my friends will be the ones to back my up and tell me everything is okay. I can relate my friends to the crutches under my arms when I break a leg.

When I am sad, my friends open their arms for me to have a shoulder to cry on. They also comment on creating a plan for revenge, which makes me laugh so I can carry on the rest of the day. They can read my mind and relate to my facial expressions. They know me better than my family does.

My friends are silly most of the time, but when I need them they are always there for me. My friends mean the world to me. Without them my world would be a blur of darkness. I love my friends, and they are my only cure.
