Black Mist

Tell me Almighty One about the black mist, my eyes are shielded from its shear beauty and grace

Explain to me why it stalks the forest at night

I was simply trying to find my home

A diamond does not shine brighter than the light that lays ahead

If only you Almighty One will guide me there

I cry out, but no one hears me

I can feel a rush of wind against my pale skin

There is a noise behind me I turn quickly, but its too late the mist has engorged itself in my white skin

I cry out once again, the pain like a dull fire in my bones

It's not easy, dying,

There are no white lights, or angels singing praises, just the pain overwhelming your body, until the moment when you can't feel anything
