Pain

This was the end of my life. I could see every day, every moment so clearly. I was slowly losing my grip on consciousness when I had held on so desperately only a few months before.

This pain was so intense.

I could hear the voices of my friends somewhere off in the distance. It was strange. I knew for a fact that they were sitting right next to me.

They were talking to me. She was trying to comfort me. He was yelling at me to stay alive, a feat he would never gotten away with if I hadn't been in this state. As for everyone else, it was just a huge roar of chaos.

I slowly began to remember how I had gotten here. It all started a few months back.

At that time, I had no idea what was in store for me.

I can still remember my friends, their smiles. And I remember our home, the home we had been so desperate to leave. Our home, Nimbus XIII.
