I am from a land apart
A stapled dream to misfit heart
A set-in-stone course, for destination
Arrival, departure- not my vocation
If it wasn't for this dream of love
I'd probably fall from up above
To settle in the sunlit snow
Melt it all with anxious glow
There once was meaning here, yeah, truth
I've lost that need, starved in my youth
Now it folds it up, together,-
This dream, my dreams, with what could be better
I find a patient, waiting hand
That seems no part of the pale sand
A stranger's smile, within belief
It figures, find it, here, beneath
I'm not afraid to follow faith
If it were to sweep me from this place
But I am risen, yet arrived,
The times are changing, so am I
