A/N: FYI: I was bored. So I just posted all the chapters.
I paid absolutely no attention during the wedding ceremony. Thomas's hand spent like the entire time on my knee and thigh. I didn't allow Tyler or Chad to sit in the same row as us. Instead, they sat behind us. Every time they decided Thomas's hand moved a little too high up my thigh, they'd hit him on the back of the head. Every time this happened, I swear I saw Ash smile from the front.
After the ceremony, we followed everyone to the banquet hall. We had assigned seats and I was actually at one of the closer tables. The worst part was that Tyler was on one side of me and Chad was on Thomas's other side. That didn't make eating at all awkward.
After we all finished eating, the best man, who I didn't know but I'd been told is Danielle's step-brother Bradley, got up and gave his speech.
"It took a lot to get these two together," he started. "It took a long while to come up with the perfect plan to make them realize how much they mean to each other."
"Your plan failed," Danielle said, interrupting him. A few people around her laughed. Tristain put his hand over her mouth and nodded at Bradley to continue.
"I wasn't all too happy with my best friend dating my little sister," he began and Danielle scoffed. "And things started out rough. But things got better between them. Until he left school, and then she left school, and then he came back to school, but she didn't. They spent an entire semester together, two hours away from each other. When they finally realized they were meant to be, I was happy for them. And somehow, I just know it's going to work out with them."
He looked like he was going to cry. Danielle laughed and stood up. She walked around her now-husband and pulled the best man into a hug. Ash was next to him and he laughed. I couldn't hear what Tristain said, but his best friend hit him in the back of the head.
"I bet she has the hots for that guy," Thomas whispered in my ear.
"It's her brother, stop being gross," I said, taking his hand off of my knee. Tyler had been glaring. "Besides, she's obviously happy with Tristain. I mean, they've been together for like, two and a half years now."
"You can be with someone and not be happy," he shrugged. Someone else was now talking. I assumed it was Danielle's father. "I've done with a lot of girls."
"That makes me feel great, Thomas," I muttered pulling my hand out of his. I saw him roll his eyes. He kissed my cheek and put his hand back on my knee. Tyler saw, but I didn't feel like moving it again.
I didn't talk to Thomas until they started dancing. Even then, it was him who suggested that we dance. I nodded and followed him. It was a slow song, which I think may have been a good motive for him. He could be close to me and my brothers wouldn't be mad. Or at least, they couldn't be too upset about it, anyways. He put his arms around my waist and pulled me fully into him. I put my arms around his shoulders.
"I'm sorry if what I said upset you," he whispered into my ear.
"It's fine," I told him. "I'm just a little tense about us, you know?"
"How come?" he asked, kissing my neck.
"It's been two weeks and one day," I said, as if it were obvious. He smiled before kissing me full on the mouth.
It last all of two seconds before I was tapped on the shoulder. I pulled away and saw Danielle's best friend from the mall.
"Could I borrow her for just one dance?" he asked Thomas as the song changed.
"I guess I'll find my own college girl to dance with," Thomas said. I flipped him off as James pulled me away.
"So I asked Danielle about you," James said, starting a waltz with me. He waltzed for the wedding. I just followed his lead.
"What'd she tell you?" I asked just before he turned me in a circle.
"She said that I should leave you alone and that you're not legal," he told me. I laughed. "It's okay, I wouldn't do anything with you, anyways. That guy looks kind of scary. Not to mention, I met your brothers."
"What guy looks scary?" I asked.
"The one you were dancing with."
"Oh, my boyfriend," I nodded. "Yeah, he's not really afraid of anyone. Except Danielle, apparently. Why are we waltzing to this song?"
"Because I like waltzing," James said, grinning big.
"Jamie, leave the girl alone," Danielle said, brushing past us. Tristain was right there with her. "She has a boyfriend that looks about ready to kill you if your hand goes any lower on her back. Her brothers look the same."
We both laughed when James moved his hand up my back a little.
"James, I hope her boyfriend kills you," Tristain said.
"Doesn't matter," Danielle said, stepping away from him. "I want to borrow her for myself." She pushed in between me and James and pulled me away.
"Dani, I don't want to dance with you," I told her.
"Fine, we'll sit," she said, pulling me away from the floor.
She sat in her designated seat and pushed me into Tristain's.
"Why do you look nervous?" she asked, drinking from her glass. I knew it was champagne.
"Because of Thomas," I sighed out. She grabbed a glass of champagne from a waiter walking past and gave it to me.
"Trust me, it'll make you feel better," she told me. I sighed, but drank it almost all in one swallow. She laughed. "Your brother told me a lot about Thomas. So has Ash. Ash is surprisingly worried about you."
"Why is it a surprise?" Ash asked behind me. I turned to see him.
"Go the fuck away. We're having girl talk."
"I love girl talk." He grabbed the chair that belonged to Danielle's brother and put it in between us. She looked at me, as if asking if it was okay, and I just shrugged.
"Thomas is a good kid, but he's kind of a manwhore," Ash said with a nod.
"It's been a week and a day," I rushed out. "It scares me because I mean, I really like the guy."
"Of course you do," Danielle laughed. "He's your first boyfriend, Candy."
I frowned and she grabbed another glass from champagne. The waiter stood there a second and she grabbed two more. She gave one to me and drank one herself. Ash pinched her arm with a look and she pinched the inside of his thigh.
"It's my wedding night," she grumbled. "I'll drink unless he tells me not to."
"What was it like your first time?" I asked suddenly. She turned and looked at me.
"Like, in general or with Trist?"
"Either," I shrugged.
"In general it kind of sucked because I was just a bet to him. With Tristain… it was at my mom's wedding."
"Like, during the wedding?" I asked.
"Yeah, but my mother was the one who forced champagne on me." She shrugged and Ash rolled his eyes.
"What about you?" I asked, looking at him. "What was your first time like?"
"Awkward," he muttered. "It was in the shower."
I laughed and looked down at my heels.
"Why is that funny?" he asked.
"Hers was in the shower, too," Danielle told him. Ash's mouth opened wide and I'm sure Danielle saw the words coming out too. I knew this because she slapped her hand over his mouth. "It's pretty much a secret. I wasn't supposed to tell anyone, I don't think."
"Obviously not," I snapped.
"It's fine, I'm a good secret keeper," Ash said with a nod. "I never told anyone about the Dani getting drunk and how I had to stop her from making a terrible mistake with the waiter."
"When was this?" I asked, a big smile on my face.
"Who was the one that got me drunk?" she asked, ignoring me. I got up and walked away from them. I found Thomas at our table and pulled him away.
"Did you ever decide if you're going to UCLA?" I asked him. I pulled my Sharpie out of his pants. I didn't have pockets. I put my back against his torso and took his left hand in mine. His right one was splayed on my hip.
"I did," he said. "Turns out, I've got enough money without loans."
"You know my favorite part about this?" I asked, a big smile of my face. He shook his head. "That's where Danielle and my brother go." I felt him freeze behind me so I drew icicles.
"That just gives someone to keep an eye on me for you," he said. "Because I don't plan on ending this any time soon."
"Do you know how amazingly amazing that makes me feel?" I asked him, drawing stars.
"Probably as amazingly amazing as it makes me feel," he said into my ear. "You get to brag to Hennessy about how you get to be the girl that Thomas St. James stayed with for longer than two weeks."
"It's a great feat," I conceded.
"You might get the chance to brag to her that you're the girl Thomas St. James gets to spend her life with."
"If that happens, you'd get the chance to tell people you were the only guy to ever get into my pants," I told him. He laughed.
"I think we'd have some great times."
"I know we will."
He kissed me right below my ear and I relaxed into him. I capped my marker, putting it back in his pocket. I turned around in his arms and pressed my lips against his own. I heard disgusted noises I knew belonged to my brothers. I just flipped them off as I made out with the guy I felt whole with.
A/N: This went a lot faster. I dunno, I had fun writing it.
Hope you enjoyed reading as much as I enjoyed writing.
