The Great Disaster

I am the Great Disaster!

Hear my name, run away

By my eyes, I will always see

What terrible calamity

Will unfold

Great Disasters all passed by me

I approved them like a test

I was the judge, the jury

And who knows who the bailiff is!

By the moonlight, fires shine

By the starlight, lights flicker

And eventually die

Doesn't everything?

Maybe even me

My powers are outside my imagination

I just wander up and down

At my will

Who knows where I'd appear?

Who would guess what

I would do?

Crowds flee

People sob

Even cats know enough

To run when I am near

I am the Great Disaster!

They cry when I come

They sing when I go

When disaster comes

I usually fall asleep
