Sparks
Growing, a dark spark,
When you look down, scornful,
Leaving yet another mark
With your smirk, on me.
-
My mind, I imprisoned,
For the lost hope that
Spared, I may be
From your arrogance.
-
The pools of rage inside,
I hide so desperately
Crack my mask,
Screaming their delight.
-
For once, I dream of
A chance for retaliation,
A slap back on your face,
To wipe your sneer off.
-
One sweet day,
Surely you will fall,
Drowning, suffocating,
While I stand, superior.
