Apologies if my History is a little off in parts. And language too. Though I know a tad bit of German, it's not much and I hardly know any Spanish at all. Due to that, snippets of foreign languages that I do choose to use will be generated via the use of a translator... meaning there is a little room for error, even if I do check as thoroughly as possible. If that doesn't put you off though, enjoy! ^^
MxM//Male Slash. Warning: Language. Maybe violence in later chapters if I'm feeling mean.
-The Goodnight Kiss-
Was it hell?
There were only three things he could remember after he got lost. That was long after the radio cut out, and the only engine thrumming in the night was that of his own plane. The compass didn't want to know north from south and span wildly as he swore beneath his breath. Hoping he'd been travelling in a straight line, he turned around following his trail even though he knew, deep down, that he was making things worse. Lost and lonely in the starless sea of black, the fuel gauge stuck to three quarters, the engine suddenly spluttered. Spluttered, then died. Like something out of a cartoon, the plane fell... fell like a stone did sink in water as it crashed. Crashed and sat in that barren land as those three things embedded themselves in his mind.
First were the flames. The greedy tongues of yellow and red and orange that licked at the wreckage. Crawled quickly across everything till they began pawing at him hungrily. With the fires came the heat. Searing heat that made him choke. Made blinding tears run down his face. The smell of burning cloth, burning fuel... burning flesh. It all hit him as the heat rolled over him a cruel, deadly wave that knew no mercy. Finally were the screams. His own screams... His own frantic screaming as he cried for help in that godforsaken place. As the fires attacked him and as he clawed at the belt but to no avail. The screaming that left his throat sore, and hoarse.
It only ended when everything went black. Black and cold, oh so suddenly.
It couldn't be hell... the devil knew no mercy.
