Diary of a Measly Seventh Grader

August 24th

Dear Diary,

How are you? I'm Virginia Bradford, but you can call me Ginny. I'm so glad that I bought you from the Little Penny Convenience Store today. You were just sitting on that shelf, looking so perfect and clean when I walked in. I knew at once that I had to have you. So, what should I do now? Besides writing in you, of course. Hmm… Well, I suppose that I could go to the park or maybe to Grandma Louise's house. The park sounds good, but it's way too hot outside. Perhaps another day. I… Oh no! I just realized that I forgot to buy a carton of milk at the store! Mom is going to be so mad. I better get going. Maybe I'll have time to write in you later. Goodbye for now, and wish me luck in getting that carton of milk!

AN: Hey everyone! This is my first story, so tell me what you think. Is it as horrible as I think it is? I know that this chapter is a little short. Please review! Constructive criticism would be much appreciated.
