I fell in love the first time I saw you

Even though we were just grade two

We used to laugh, talk and play

We used to do that everyday

Until the school year came to an end

After that we were no longer each other's friend

Days, months and years passed by

Yet we still didn't even say "Hi"

We just walk away and hide

What we feel inside

Although we knew how we feel

We tried to pretend it wasn't real

Soon, you fell out.

But I still continued loving you

Yet you still didn't seem to have a clue

But now it's over

I'm no longer your lover

I spent five years waiting

Shedding tears just for nothing

You left me with a scar in my heart

And called it a wonderful work of art

I took a risk and lost the deal

Are you happy now?

How does it feel to win and gain?

To see me crying with pain?

Does it make you smile?

To do something wrong?

To break a heart so fragile?

Do I bring you happiness?

By showing you all of my loneliness?

Are you content?

Because I'm ready to move on

I wonder what would be your reaction

When you soon find out that I grew stronger

That I already went

And found true happiness.
