Sure

You can walk the walk

And talk the talk

You can hold my hand

And say you love me

But do you mean it

Or is it just a game

Like everything else

Do you understand

The power that I've given you

Do you realize

How fragile

I truly am

And how breakable

I am in your hands?

Do you get it?

I don't think you do

You could break me

With the simplest of words

You could ask me to do anything

And I would

You could take my hopes and dreams

And shatter them

And I would pick up the pieces

With a smile on my face

You could love me

And bliss wouldn't even begin to describe it

So don't play games with me

I don't do things halfway

And I don't say things I don't mean

So when you say you love me

Mean it

Don't lie to me

A/N: I wrote this a while back and just realized how relevant it is to my life right now:) I wanted to cut out everything after "I don't think you do" (17th line), but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I've accidentally memorized the whole thing, and it just didn't sound right to me without the last part. What do you think? Should I have cut it? Or is it okay the way it is? Thanks!
