A/N: Hey! Haven't touched theis website in months. College's taking away all my time. My holiday's during August so expect to see updates on my other stories espcially Victoria's Revenge soon! But for now, here's a short scene of a little muse of mine. Saw four crows ripping into a rat's dead body on the wya back home. Literally. So yeah. ENjoy!
Crows cry out in the distance and I can see the sky turning dark. Dark clouds covered the twinkling stars, shielding the slightest hint of beauty. Roaches hurriedly crawled towards the rubbish. Rats came creeping out from under the drain.
Scurrying. Scurrying. Searching for food.
One crosses the road, and then everything turns bright. A monster made out of metal took the rat's life in one hard run.
The rat squeaked. Then silence as the sound of the monster fades away. Blood was there. And then it wasn't.
Again came the crows, their eyes gleaming hungrily in the darkest time. Crowing in delight as they swiftly landed onto the hard rough road.
First it was two. Then three. Then five. A perfect circle around the flat dead rat.
Slight flapping of feathers. Their beaks opened wide. Their heads raised high. And then...
Peck!
The rat's eyes were gone.
They laughed in delight in their shrilling voice as greed consumed them all.
The white bones of the rat's; the fresh tender flesh, so pink and lovely were like a seduction to their hearts. Mists clouds their insane black eyes as they flapped open their wings, ready for a fight.
They are hungry. They are the scavengers of the night. A perfect meal was laid before them. No one is going to share it. It is mine... and that was what they thought.
And then, a battle began over the squashed dead rat.
Black shiny feathers gently flowed down as one by one, the crows fall onto the ground.
Thud. Thud. Thud. Thud.
From each crow, life left their eyes along with the blood that flows from the many holes on it's body.
Tick tock. Tick Tock. Grueling minutes past. And then, finally, four crows were dead, accompanying the dead rat in its road trip to hell.
The largest and most beautiful crow landed gently on its feet. It is the victor, the champion, the strongest and blood-thirsty of all. It feasted its eyes on the victory of tonight and something, like a smile but not quite it, crept up it's beak.
A breeze. Rustling of leaves. Smoke. And the crow was gone.
But instead, there was a man. Large black eyes with soft black lips. Long gleaming black hair covered the sides of his face that went down all the way to his waist. He was naked and the only thing that shielded his marble white skin were a pair of wings. A pair of black shiny thick feathered wings that seemed, almost, like from the crow before.
He smirked and grounded his feet onto one of the dead crows, enjoying the feel of it's soft hollow bones cracking beneath him. He shifted his eyes onto the dead rat and sighed. With a quick kick, he sent the rat flying 3 feet away from him.
"Poor little rat" he murmured without a trace of pity in his melodic voice as another larger metal monster ran over the dead rat.
He shrugged and looked up into the sky.
By the time the car's light shone upon where he stood, he was already gone.
Only his feathers remained - glittery and still gorgeous - together with four dead crows.
