So I know it's soon but I wanted to get this chapter (& probably the next one) posted before I leave for the beach next week (yay!). After that though I plan on getting on some sort of schedule for posting. Until then...here you go.

~Chapter 2~

~Car Rides to School~

"Braden, you have soccer right after school. So, go straight there. I don't know who, but somebody will be here at five to pick you up, okay?"

"Yeah, I need the money for my uniform by Friday."

"Oh, shoot, that's right. I forgot. Thanks for reminding me."

We had just arrived at Braden's school and I got out to help him get his things together. "Okay, I'll see you later." I pulled him in for a hug and he quickly kissed me goodbye. "I love you."

"I love you too. Bye Mason, see you both tonight." Braden turned to go into the school as I got back into the car. When he reached the main doors he turned and waved goodbye one last time.

Mason grabbed up my hand once it was free from the seat belt buckle and drove the short distance down the road to the turn off for our secret part of the woods. We've been coming here for years and have never been interrupted. It was part of our daily routine: drop Braden off – if we have him – and then pull off into the woods. We always leave early enough to have this little bit of alone time. Honestly, how much alone time can I expect with my three brothers right down the hall?

Once he parked the car, Mason turned to me and asked, "Are you alright? I mean you've been kind of quiet this morning."

"I'm fine, Mason, really."

Mason just nodded and kissed my hand as he turned in his seat to face front again. Always the gentleman, he didn't want to initiate anything if he had any doubt that it wasn't what I wanted.

I took my hand back and mentally smiled as he looked confused while I undid my seat belt and turned to face him. "Mason, you know I love you, right?"

"Yes," he replied a bit hesitantly, still questioning what I was doing with his eyes.

"Okay and you know I wouldn't lie to you, right?"

"Yeah, but you have been known to stretch the truth a bit, especially when it comes to how you are."

"Okay, well, with that aside, I am not lying to you now." I smiled. He still looked a little wary and confused, so I decided to spell it out for him. "Mason Anthony Thomas, you are seriously hurting your girlfriend's felling over here. Not only are you wasting precious minutes of our time together, but you are not living up to the teenage boy stereotype either." I finished by crossing my arms over my chest and putting on the biggest fake pout I could conjure up. Mason succeeded at wiping the confused look of his face and replaced it with a huge grin as the light bulb finally lit up.

He reached out with his thumb and touched it to my lower lip as he took my hand back. "You know, you are the most adorable girl I have ever seen when you do that."

"Huh, adorable? Not exactly what I was going for, but it'll have to work for the time being," I whispered as he began to kiss me, my eyes fluttering shut.

He slowly worked on sweetly kissing all over my face. Working from my mouth to my nose, forehead, jaw, ear, and back to my lips again as he whispered all the different adjectives he thought applied to me. "Beautiful. Sexy. Hot. Amazing. Did I mention sexy?"

"I do believe that one came up," I trailed off as he moved on to my neck and gently began to kiss and suck there for a while.

I'd finally had enough of his teasing when he moved my shirt slightly out of the way to have better access to my collar bone and shoulder. I pulled him closer to me and kissed his lips again before pushing him back against his seat to climb over the center console into his lap. Straddling his lap, I proceeded down to his neck as he moaned. His hands were finally coming into contact with the skin under my shirt when I reclined the seat back.

My lips had just found his again when he jokingly said, "You're pretty good at this. Is there something else I should know about? Like if you're secretly practicing with somebody else."

"Never, maybe I'm just a faster learner than you are. You'd think you would be better after all this time. We've only been doing it since you got your license." I pulled back and had to laugh at his mock hurt expression.

"So, what, you don't think I have any skills at all? That hurts, babe."

"I didn't say you don't have any skills, you're just refusing to show them to me today. I personally think you have plenty of skills. I mean if you're not into this, that's fine. It's totally alright with me if you don't want me, in your car, before school," I replied as I started to pull away from him and sit up. I was in the process of straightening my shirt when he pulled me back down onto him for a very forceful kiss mumbling something about showing me his skills. Goodness, it's all just too easy. Guys are too competitive, all you have to do is insult his skills at whatever and voila he's back under your thumb doing exactly what you want. It really all comes down to reverse psychology.

He had just took off my shirt and was in the process of undoing my bra clasp when his cell buzzed, indicating he had a text. Since my hands were right next to his jeans pocket and his were otherwise preoccupied I retrieved his phone and handed it to him as I tried to control my breathing.

Mason quickly read it, chuckled, and then handed it to me to read. I groaned as I read Ryder's message: better hurry up or you're going to be late. I failed to see the humor in getting so far gone only to have it cut short.

I sighed and started to dress as Mason put his seat back up. As I shifted on the steering wheel I ended up beeping the horn. I sighed, "This works so much better in the passenger seat."

"No, it works better in a bed, but that takes the fun out of it." Mason chuckled and kissed me one last time before helping me back over the console into my seat. "You are definitely driving tomorrow though, by the way."

"I don't know about you, but I didn't plan on waiting that long to finish this."

"When did you have in mind," Mason asked as he straightened his clothes and started his car with a mischievous smile on his face.

"Well how about tonight you come over for dinner and stay a while? I could really go for some cuddling. That is, if you can keep quiet and not make me get too loud." Mason and Abby had been staying over at our house since they were toddlers. Our parents didn't make a move to stop it though, even since we're older, because they knew we were being safe, they made sure of it. My mom always made sure I took my pill regularly and Mason's dad always made sure he had money for condoms. Same goes for Abby and Ryder.

"Sounds very nice except the parts about having to keep quiet and waiting until after dinner."

I slapped him lightly on the shoulder and he just laughed and pulled out onto the road.

A/N So this chapter was kind of short (so is the next one btw). They're really just buffer chapters to work up to the more important ones. Please review one way or another. I like hearing all feedback. If something's confusing just let me know and I'll try my best to make it clearer. I have the whole plot worked out in my head but somehow from there to paper it gets all jumbled.

P.S. Thanks for the reviews I got from the first chapter. I really liked hearing that you like the story so far.

Thanks,

~Ashley
