Labyrinth

Each time I turn to see the morning dawn

It seems to me the change of more than day

The change I feel is more than just the fawn

A sky of shifting stars is but a ray.

Of light within a labyrinth of self

Each time I turn a corner or a bend

The fact is… I no longer am myself

It is the time to be strong, to fend.

To guard with confidence and mind

Thy name is forgotten within the walls

Never let them have the power to bind

Let these labyrinth barriers become falls.

Become puddles beneath my unbound feet

And there she stands past the end, me I meet.
