To Think

The flash of lightening in my head
As into existence thoughts become
Of you, you, you, and what I would say—
I pace and wear away the day

As into existence thoughts become
Infatuation and insults slung
I pace and wear away the day
And heave out all that I may

Infatuation and hatred slung
The night I beg to go away
And push out all that I may
While into bed myself I lay

I shy from once again
The flash of lightening in my head
I strain to keep the thoughts at bay
Of you, you, you, and what I would say.
