"I love you," he whispers softly
And his breath tickles my ear.
Yet, I know he's only telling me
What I want to hear.
I know that when he's through with me,
He'll toss me to the side.
But when he asked for one more kiss,
I faithfully complied.
His lips feel warm against my skin,
His arms are 'round me tight.
I find that I am giving in
Though I know it isn't right.
I know this isn't truly love,
But this moment feels like bliss.
And I feel myself getting lost once more
In the passion of his kiss.
