Oh how I've missed the snow
I feel the sweet cold of its pressence
and wrap myself in its comfort
I dance with delight
as I stick out my tongue to catch the tiny crystals
eventually my mouth is numb
along with my nose
the cold air makes my skin tingle
and I gladly drink it up through a straw
The line of distance that separates us is easily severed
and I feel what it must be like to be a snow angel
So I stretch out my arms and fall backwards
I hit the ground much sooner than anticipated
and find only the unforgiving frozen earth
as fast as you filled me with your delight it is gone
leaving me with nothing
but a cold floor and a bloody nose
