Take a Look Around:

I find it funny
That we think that world will end
When we are gone.
But I'd bet money
That It would manage to fend
And that we are all
Dead wrong.

Lets that a look
At what we call
A world at its end.

Tree's grow
The river's flow
The bugs all buzz
And just because
The frog can feast
Doesn't mean defeat
For the rest of the food chain.

Fish do well
Volcanoes swell;
The ground will harden
But pardon natural chaos.

Deer will prance
Raindrops will dance
And all the world will hum.

The night will sigh
But no one will cry.

Take a look at the natural world.
You'll understand
Why I find it funny
That we think that world will end
When we are gone.
But I'd bet money
That it would manage to fend
And that we are all
Dead wrong.
