High School Crush

Eight o' clock, woke up with a shock,

'Cause of the wailing of my alarm clock.

Quickly got dressed, with my hair still messed,

Crammed hard to prepare for that darn math test.

...

Late for the bus, oh what a fuss,

I'm so tired I can almost cuss.

Made it to school, looking like a fool,

Blundering away acting so uncool.

...

Sheepishly I take a small look around,

Saw you and my jaw dropped to the ground.

You're perfect in each and every way,

Your image alone is what makes my day.

...

It's just a high school crush,

But man my head's in such a rush.

You smile and it breaks my heart,

You hug me and I fall apart.

...

You kiss me and I cannot speak,

You laugh and my legs go weak.

I hope you don't notice my bright red blush,

You may not know it; you're my high school crush.

...

You make my life worth living,

My love worth giving.

Around you I'm burning up,

Without you I'm shivering.

...

A moment with you is a gift from heaven,

A moment without is hell times eleven.

With you I feel like I can fly,

Without you I fall down about to die.

...

You're the star I wish upon at night,

You're my comfort when I wake up in fright.

Like I'm a flower and you're my rising sun,

When the war is lost you make it seem like I've won.

...

It's just a high school crush,

But man my head's in such a rush.

You smile and it breaks my heart,

You hug me and I fall apart.

...

You kiss me and I cannot speak,

You laugh and my legs go weak.

My heart beats faster every time we touch,

You may not know it; you're my high school crush.

...

Every time you hold my hand,

Everything begins to rush.

I hope you understand,

You're my high school crush.
