Cold droplets fall to the ground
Drenching the gasping earth
Each one making a soft sound
As if in delightful mirth.
They fall and soak everything
Running down cheeks once red
A revitalising calmness they bring
Showing nuances shouldn't be dread.
As one stands in their path
It is refreshing to alleviate fears
Knowing they have no wrath
And no-one sees your tears.
