I like to say, before you read this, that this poem is dedicated to the women and children, who everyday are horrifically mistreated and abused. this is about the justice they deserve, and maybe somehow ( in some act of faith) that these words can give them faith.

Stop! Stop this fire of hate!

For the world is so young and new,

It does not deserve this horrific date

Nor the children who witness what they do,

Of the evil demons that take their lives.

Stop! Stop these soldiers of terror and pain!

They have destroyed our home of love!

Stand strong in this bloody rain,

Pick up your sword and with a good shove,

Kill these men of Congo!

Say no to their evil deeds,

The end is not here,

Begin again with new seeds,

And wash away your tears.

We are strong, women of Congo.
