Sasha maddens life is thrown into a mess after she finds out the brother of her sisters fiancé is the man that she fled new York from and the only man she had thought she ever loved. Now she has to spend the next 3 weeks planning her sister's wedding with him whilst pretending not to know him!
The other brother-
Now here you go again
You say you want your freedom
Well who am I to keep you down
It's only right that you should
Play the way you feel it
But listen carefully to the sound
Of your loneliness
Like a heartbeat...drives you mad
In the stillness of remembering what you had
And what you lost...
And what you had...
And what you lost
Thunder only happens when it's raining
Players only love you when they're playing
Say...Women...they will come and they will go
When the rain washes you clean...you'll know…

The sweet scent of Estee Lauders pleasures filled the air as Sasha Madden glided around her bedroom getting ready for the night ahead. Tonight she was meeting up with her sister Leigh and her Fiancé /soon to be husband Matt for Dinner. Also joining them was Matt's younger brother – you see it had occurred to Leigh the other day that with the wedding fast approaching the pair should get acquainted as they were sure to be running countless errands together in preparation for the wedding that remained 3 weeks away. With a few last sweeps of mascara Sasha stood in front of the mirror surveying her. Her black hair that passed her shoulders and ended mid way down her back set against fair skin and brown eyes brought out beautifully the teal blue of her v neck cap sleeved shift dress that ended just below the knee. Time had been scarce as she had just arrived home from a hard day of work at the Washington post and her usual smart casual work attire seemed appropriate for a night out at "la bellisiomo". She smiled , I don't look to bad if i must says so she thought happily yanking her coat of the bed and grabbing her purse in time for her to hear a knock at the door. "Sasha… it's me, Leigh" She stumbled to the door yanking the latch free to find her sister idly standing in the door way. Tonight Leigh had adorned a trench coat covering a black dress with black heels and pearl earrings. Her brown hair had been swept into an elegant twist. Leigh flashed her a brilliant white smile before embracing her into a hug.
"I can't wait for you to meet Nate, you'll love him honestly. He's just like Matt I swear"
"Just like Matt, oh god" Sasha remarked feigning horror as she locked the front door behind them.
"Oh, you know what I mean. Imagine a more serious Matt with black hair and a couple of inches taller and more toned"
Sasha laughed. She knew that she would enjoy tonight. Matt really was a great guy. He was an actor from a well majored family who Leigh had met about a year ago. In all honesty Sasha had always regarded her sister to be the luckiest girl in the world to have met the perfect guy and to be getting her happy ending. They really were the perfect couple.
Sasha and Leigh took the lift down and as they left the lobby area crossing the street to Leigh's car Leigh stopped her.
"You look breath taking tonight by the way Sasha; you'll definitely be turning heads"
"Thanks" she replied as she got into the car. If only she knew -thought Sasha as she wistfully gazed out the window. Sure she'd been out on dates and she had plenty of guy friends – but nothing serious since….. since New York. She was happy the way things were and hadn't thought about it for 2 years.
Leigh pulled out of the curb and Sasha gazed out the window to the sky that was steadily growing darker. The overcast grey clouds that blanketed the skies of Washington DC seemed to hide it away from the rest of the world giving the city a peaceful, cozy and homely feel.
