A/N: This came to be really late last night, decided to put it up and see what response it got. Hope you enjoy it.
…
She sits alone on a park bench, questions floating around in her head as the butterflies flutter in her stomach. She can't fathom why she feels like this, she was not doing anything out of the ordinary. Maybe it was the weather, the day was not pleasant one. There were dark grey clouds looming over head. She was not able comprehend the weather of the last week, days like this, in the middle summer. It just didn't happen. It was cold out, she was shivering and small bumps had appeared on her arms.
She was about to leave, when she saw him approach. She felt instantly warmed just being in his presence. He motioned for her to sit on the bench. She obeyed. She opened her mouth to speak but he held his hand up and silenced her. He wanted to speak. It was his turn.
"I can't do this anymore, I'm sorry. We can't be together". He didn't give explanation for his words. He just got up and left her there.
Firstly, she was shocked. It was not what she had expected.
Secondly she was angry. How could he have done this to her. They had been happy well she thought so. He just left her there with no explanation, no nothing.
Finally, she understood. The clarity was amazing. She had known, she was expecting it and just didn't want to believe it. She understood the weather. Cold and grey, just like her.
