My last memory stick was chewed up by my dog. She managed to eat ten pieces of homework at once. Talk about the ultimate bad excuse:
ICT Teacher- where is your work?
Me- dog ate it.
ICT Teacher- how did your dog eat your PowerPoint?
ICT Teacher- Detention!
Okay, so that didn't actually happen, it was my science work that was saved on it, and some English, but you get the point. I also at one point had a cat that ate my history homework, and I got a right funny look when I told my teacher that. A few weeks later I brought in half of a piece of English homework, and had to explain that the cat had tried to eat it, I got yet another funny look.
Which leads me to the question of the day: why do pets eat homework? More importantly, why do they only eat the ones we actually did? The only time I bother to do work, and the dog (or cat) eats it. My reputation amongst teachers is bad enough as it is, I don't need their help to get into trouble. Next the birds will be conspiring against me; sliding glass doors already are. But, alas, that is a drabble for a different day. Now I just have to find a way to transfer work into school – or get a new memory stick, whichever works.
And now, back to not doing my homework. Maybe I'll just write some more drabbles, this could be like an internet diary. Don't you just love procrastinating?
Over and out!
