It all started when my oh so loving older brother and sister felt that I, a seventeen year old boy needed a babysitter. Our parents had decided to travel the world before one of them "kick the bucket", and that was their words not mine. My bet was that they where push into this idea from a movie or something. To this my older siblings jumped at the chance to watch over me and the house. And I was grateful, because it was them or Aunt Margaret, who was a nut job plain and simply. Everything was going just fine until ThingOne and ThingTwo (my nicknames for the twins) where going to some convention in New York. This all would have been fined with me as if that was it, but no I had to have a babysitter. First I thought it was a joke but there she was, Kimberly Smith.

The first time I meet Kimberly was in the eighth grade, she was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. Kimberly was my sister Joey best friend from high school, she also use to be my babysitter. I remember how Paul (my idiot brother) would always tease me on how I was so in love and that I would one day marry her. And the fact that I use to believe him was just, sad. But as time past; me getting older and Kim moving away to start college I didn't think about how I would go about asking for her hand in marriage anymore. But sometimes I would hear her name mentioned to my parents or brother and find myself listening with interests. And from what Joey mentioned, Kim had gone to England as an international student. Other then me wanting to see Kimberly's face again, I really wasn't love sick over her, what I felt now was a small infatuation from my childhood memories.

Now there she was sitting at my kitchen table like it was only yesterday. She was talking with ThingOne and ThingTwo (Paul being ThingTwo), they where laughing at the idiot, something about being a "wanna be player" with no game.

"Do you know how many women cried out from under this body?" Paul said as he traces a finger over his body. And at that the girls laughed harder.

"You mean they cried out 'get the hell away from me'?" Kim said still laughing. I like the way she sounds, just like a four year old. That made me smile.

"I don't know what he's talking about, the kid is imagining things I tell you. Or is on crack." Joey said. But Paul didn't hear her or didn't care as he went on.

"Oh, Kim babie if you want to take me for a test drive, all you had to do was ask." ThingTwo said getting uncomfortably close to her. With my smile gone, I walk towards them to get my word in on this changed conversation. "ThingTw-Paul-"

"I'd love to-" Kim began, and I stopped...she wouldn't....

"Hide, your up early." I quickly turn to ThingOne not wanting to finish my thought. "What?"
"I said why you up so early, its only 6:21am on a saturday"

"The noise." I said simply "Sorry about that, but look who's here." Joey said pointing to Kim. I turn to find her smiling at me, and I couldn't help smiling back then looking at the ground I whispered a small "Hi."

"Ya you, long-time-no-see." Kim said to me.
"What's up, Kim?" was all I could say.

"Don't tell me you're still shy?"

"No." Only when I'm around you.

"Okay, let me get a hug." she said walking over to me. With a short hug she let go, and I didn't even put my arms around her. "You're all grown up now. But you well always me my little Hiddey."
