Chapter Two
I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus
I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus
Underneath the mistletoe last night
She didn't see me creep
Down the stairs to have a peep
She thought that I was tucked up
in my bedroom fast asleep
Then I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus
Underneath his beard so snowy white
Oh, what a laugh it would have been
If Daddy had only seen
Mommy kissing Santa Claus last night.
There were only three words Bella could have come up with. Oh my god. She knew it was bad for someone to be in her house, unknown to who he was, but the simplest thoughts like how his dazzling honey brown hair ruffled in the light, were already affecting her. Shaking them stupid thoughts out of her head, she was brought back to reality by the six-foot figure standing in front of her.
''If you don't get out of this house now, I'll call 911, or if I have to, I'll use this bat,'' she threatened him. Looking up from where he had been looking, she noticed he did not only have sexy hair, but his aqua eyes were to die for too.
''You wouldn't do that, Bella Archibald,'' he told her, cocking his head to the side.
''What the hell- how do you know my name?'' Bella asked shocked.
''Well, let's see... you have been on the naughty list for a long time now,'' he said.
''Naughty list? What kind of freak are you?'' Bella laughed. He was wearing a red suit, just like Santa Claus himself, minus the beard and the red silly hat.
''I am no freak Bella. You just think I am not real, and that I am some child's imagination made up.''
''Who the hell are you?'' Bella screamed, trying not to wake up her little brother and sister.
''Well,'' he said, wriggling his eyebrows. ''Some call me Santa, others call me father Christmas, then in some parts of the country I'm called Papa Noel, Saint Nicholas, Weihnachtsmann. However, you can call me Chris, short for Chris Cringle,'' he smiled warmly.
'Ha! Is this some kind of joke? Am I getting punk'd or something? Because Ashton if your up to this, then it's not funny,'' she joked, turning her face from simple, to serious. ''Now get out of my house, now.'' He just shook his head, thinking all of it was humor for the night.
''No can do sweetheart, I must deliver the presents for Dexter and Megan before I leave.''
''Are you sick? Pretending your Santa Claus, then entering my house and then saying you must deliver presents for my sister and brother.'' Grabbing the phone from across the room, Bella dialed 911, but just before she pressed the enter button, he seemed to have gotten a strong hold on her to stop her from dialing. ''GET OFF ME,'' she screamed louder then she did the first time.
''On one condition. Don't squeal, and don't phone the police, the one year it took me forever to get them off my back,'' he whispered softly into her blond hair, feeling the breeze from his soft voice. She nodded slowly; scared at the fact he might have actually done something to her if she did not agree with him. Realizing her, she let out a deep breath and gawked at his cool expression he seemed to have on his perfectly shaped face.
''I still don't believe you're Santa,'' she mumbled. Just before he had put down the presents under the Christmas tree, he turned around not a little bit surprised by her reaction.
''You always were stubborn Bella, even when you were a little kid,'' he laughed, putting the presents finally under the tree. ''If you did not get the right present, you used to make incredible remarks about it. In addition, most of the time they would be about how Santa is a pervert.''
''It still doesn't make up for the fact that you are him because there is no such thing as Santa,'' Bella said shaking her head. ''Because if there was then he would be fat, old, and very ugly.''
''Of course you know that they're lies that people make up,'' he grinned. Big head. Bella rolled her eyes.
''Santa is not real; you're just some pervert boy robbing peoples houses. Thinking little sweet innocent 18 year olds would not be able to do anything about it.''
''Seriously? Do you really think I want to steal? Don't you think that if I wanted to steal, I would of done so already.''
''That's a good point; still I have to be suspicious.''
''Look do you believe in magic?'' Bella was just about to answer him, when he cut in again. ''Of course, you don't, you don't believe in anything. However, I know one way to show you true magic,'' he said, pulling her outside the front door.
''What the heck do you think you're-'' Before she got to finish her sentence she noticed a beautiful red sleigh, sitting at the top of her roof. ''Wow.''
''I knew you would like it. Not many people have seen this sleigh, what do you think? Do you believe in me now?'' It took a while for Bella to say something, all she kept on thinking of in her head was the fact that there really was a sleigh and a group of reindeer's on her roof, then she realized she must of been in a dream, but crazy stuff like that didn't happen.
''No, unless- unless you take me with you to Santa land,'' she said, thinking her plan was genius since she knew he would either disagree to it or take her and it would all be a mindless dream she would wake up to.
''Seriously?''
''Seriously. I mean since I am in a stupid dream, it cannot get any worse right?'' He laughed at how stupid she was to believing it was all a dream, if he did show her then maybe then he could change her mind to how she thought of Christmas.
''Fine you can come. On one condition. You will have to deliver the presents with me first.''
''Deal. As long as my brother and sister can come.''
''Wait what? I agreed to you coming, there wouldn't be enough room for them,'' he whined, like a little boy.
''I don't care; I can't exactly keep them here on their own.''
''Fine whatever. Go and get them then, just remember Bella.''
''Remember what?''
''It's not Santa land, it's the North Pole.''
