DRUNK PEOPLE NEVER LIE
Alexia wrote a very special e-mail to her boyfriend: They were…in a difficult moment, but she knew she had to write down what she felt, and make him know it about it. So she turned on her PC, and she started to type those words flowing with a weird mix of anger, alcohol and chocolates that she knew very well…
"…Yes, I told you I would forgive you, because I still living you, I can't deny it, and I won't fool anyone. I want to be with you, and yet, my feelings are confusing me, because I just can't forget what you did, and probably that sensation would take a long time to finally disappear.
I believe we have something special, and get excited just to think about spending the rest of our lives together, but every time I look to your eyes, I see love, but I can also see the lies, and I have to struggle with my lack of confidence: I'm scared, I'm sad, I'm angry, I'm mad.
Remember our first kiss? It was…just magical, and I keep that memory in a special place in my heart. I would remember that until my last day, and I wonder: Am I going to remember your betrayal in the same way? Which would be the first thought when I think about you? I would feel that warm feeling that only appears in the kingdom of the past loves? Or I would get angry and bitter, bordering with sadness, just plain sadness…
I can't believe all I did for you, I mean, we even made out in a church! I'm not even Catholic, but you had to go to see your family, right? You owe me one…And a big one! (if you know what I mean…well, maybe not…perhaps…no, well, just forget that last sentence…)
I'm gonna forgive you, but I will still mad…so don't be surprised about it…"
The next morning, Alexia had such an incredible headache; she woke up as usual, turning on the damn PC even before drinking coffee or at least take a shower, and when she saw her mailbox, she noticed she had more messages than the usual, and all of them answering to an e-mail she sent last night…
-OMG! That was the funniest message ever! - Replied her old roommate, Monica
-I haven't laugh this hard in years! - Replied her sister, Jenna
And well, all the messages were more or less like those ones, and she realized of a little but important fact: She HATED all those freaking e-mail jokes and she wouldn't send something like that…but then, she recalled one message she did sent…
-Oh crap…
Yes: She sent her angry-drunk love letter to all her contacts…well, not ALL of them, because then she realized about other thing: She didn't even had the e-mail direction of her boyfriend, so all the whole process was pointless anyway.
-Damn computers…next time, I'm just going to cry him in his idiotic face…- Alexia thought, realizing that humiliating herself in front one person it's a lot better than a little amount of humiliation from every damn person have ever met; She surely will be mad, but for all the wrong reasons.
If she learnt something, is to don't write stuff you're not ready to let anyone read…and even less so in the strange kingdom of the Internet...
