A/N: Hey, everyone. Here is another short story of mine. It came to me this morning when I was talking on the phone to my friend Cassandra. I will not say exactly how this idea got brought up, due to the fact that it was a between friends kind of deal; however, I will say that the conversation mostly inspired this work. And I hope you all will enjoy this story. Please R&R and tell me what you think. Also, Cassandra will be writing her own version of this work, in hopes that you guys will compare the two.

"Ashley, wake up!" He shouted to me from down the carpeted stairs. That was my twin brother, Myles; his annoying voice was enough to make a rebellious guy like me comply, anything to make him shut the hell up. I drug my skater boy figure that was only clad in red boxer shorts out of my full sized bed by pulling my light blue covers off of me and standing up.
For those of you who noticed that he had just called me Ashley, well, unfortunately that's my parents' idea of a sick joke. As you may have noticed by now, I'm a guy. My full name is Ashley Michael Carter; I prefer to be called Ash, for a lot of different reasons. Mainly because with my boyish features and my tough guy rep, I can't have a name like that. I can just see the bruises and scars I'd take for that if people knew. I guess that's why it's fine that I am a loner, makes it a hell of a lot easier to save on hospital bills. And who needs anyone anyway? I am not like my brother, nor am I his keeper.
I went into my bathroom and reappeared with my green toothbrush in hand and a white t-shirt that clung nicely around my abs, as I walked down the stairs ready to take on a new day of peer pressure, cheerleaders and asshole jocks, or as commonly referred to as high school.

Ugh, Ashley is always the last one to be ready. Why can't he be more of my identical twin in areas like schoolwork and responsibility?
My name is Myles Jakob Carter, and as you can see, I am the more studious twin. We had just moved to this beautiful and peaceful town a month ago and my brother has already made quite a statement for himself at our school. I don't even believe that he has said one word to any of our fellow classmates. That's just like him, the strong silent type. Me? I am more of a social butterfly. I have made tons of friends already and I am really starting to like it here
I make my way into the living room to scream at my brother about the tenth time as I see him lugging down the steps with a toothbrush in his hand and he's not even close to being dressed. "What are you doing? The bus is going to be here any second, and you aren't even halfway dressed!"
"Put a sock in it, I'm getting there. Then we can jump joyfully to the school like we are ever so happy to go!" My brother always was the downer of a happy situation.
I decided to retaliate on his slacking behavior. "It's a wonder why no one at school will talk to you, grouch."
"It's whatever. Not my problem, it's theirs." He said walking over to the kitchen sink and spitting his toothpaste into it. How disgusting!
"Gross! Can't you use the bathroom sink?"
"A sink is a sink! Get over it, Myles!"
Just as we had not settled that argument, I heard the bus pull up out side."Ugh! The bus is here, see you at school and you better be there!" I threatened running out the door as fast as my feet could carry me. I knew the chances of him actually showing up were slim to none, but I just hoped my warning worked a little.
A/N: There you are, my new story that I have tons of ideas for. I just hoped that you like this as I bring you the first chapter soon.
