As the descendants of Seth and Cain grew, the sons of Seth did mate with the daughters of Cain. And when this had come to pass, the sons of Seth turned away from God and were influenced by their wives who did not know God nor did they keep his laws. As I had predicted, man was a failure and should be destroyed for the sake of the Lord's name.

And as I called upon the destruction of mankind, the Lord appointed Watchers to oversee humanity from every aspect. These Watchers were assigned to observe humanity night and day and report to their superiors if any dramatic changes occurred. All of these angels were Cherubim, but none of them were assigned to me.

Each set of 10 angels had a leader and there were 20 leaders for a total of 200 Watchers. They were Samyaza, Araqiel, Raneel also known as Azazel, Kokabiel, Tamiel, Ramiel, Danel, Chazaqiel, Baraqiel, Asael, Armaros, Batariel, Bezaliel, Ananiel, Zaqiel, Shamsiel, Satariel, Turiel, Yomiel, and Sariel. These were the names of these angels as humans would later call them. For example, Armaros was not considered a "cursed angel" until later.

One day, my apprentice came to me with a distressed mind. "What distresses you so?" I asked.

"There are woman pregnant with child," she began.

"Does this not please you?" I asked; it generally did.

"They are children conceived by angels!" she said alarmed.

"How could this be?" I asked her.

"These angels have taken possession of the strongest sons of Seth and have mated with the daughters of Cain," she explained.

"How could they defile themselves this way? How many angels and how many women have become pregnant?" I asked.

"The two hundred Watchers have descended down to the Earth and they are led by Samyaza who has made a pact with the others. In this pact they have agreed to mate with the women and conceive children. The women number in the thousands," she said.

"Anything else?" I asked.

"They are teaching the sons of Seth forbidden knowledge concerning the universe," she replied.

"For what purpose?" I wondered.

"They may wish to take control of humanity for themselves, an uprising against the Lord," she speculated.

"We should not be too hasty. We shall continue to observe," I cautioned.

And over the years, these women who mated with angels gave birth to children. These children were stronger, faster, healthier, more intelligent, and had better senses than all the other humans. In time, these children would rule over the humans and then replace them as the humans had done to the Neanderthals.

The angels while they possessed sons of Seth taught their children and all the people around them forbidden teachings. Arakiel taught the people geomancy revealing to the humans the signs of God through the ground. In this way, the humans could attempt to know God's will by looking at the rocks and stones on the ground. But these teachings aimed to distort the world, and instead of telling truth it merely confused the humans so that they relied on this technique rather than God.

Kokabiel taught astrology so that men would trust in the signs of the stars rather than God. It was a creative temptation that led many astray and continues to do so even to this day. Tamiel taught the women how to induce abortions with herbs and plants thus defying the Lord's command to be fruitful and multiply. Chazaqiel taught meteorology so that man may understand the clouds. So, when the clouds were large and dark, man could discern its meaning and take shelter. They could discern seasons so that they would know the proper time to farm.

Baraqiel taught man the astrology of lightning. In this way, man could discern God's will by studying lightning patterns. Shamsiel taught the meanings of the sun so that man began to worship the sun rather than God. Instead of God, they relied on the sun for warmth and their food. Satariel taught the signs of the moon so that man would understand the meaning of eclipses, the phases of the moon, and how the moon could assist in keeping time. But he did not teach them the connection between the sun and moon, so that the people worshiped the moon separately from the sun and gave credit to the moon for light it did not deserve. And finally Suriel taught man how to heal themselves with medicines concocted by plants and herbs.

And after all these teachings, man forgot about God and began to worship many gods. Whether this was the intention of the Fallen, I do not know. But in short time, humanity worshiped the gods of the sun, moon, sky, lightning, clouds, the sea, fire, and the ground. In addition, Azazel taught the men the ways of warfare so that they would be able to construct swords, knives, beast plates, shields, and armor. And he did teach them primitive make up designs so as to make women more attractive to men through deception.

While these act occurred, my apprentice took possession of a beautiful virgin woman and as such did reconnaissance for me. She asked if I wished to do the same but I refused. I had no desire to share a body with a human nor did I wish to be involved with their primitive thoughts and needs.

As a woman, my apprentice learned of the culture and did not reveal to the Fallen Angels her real identity. Tamiel then flung himself on her as if to rape her for there was lust in his heart. My apprentice attempted to run at speeds not normally permitted by nature but was captured by Tamiel and pressed down on her. But she refused to mate with Tamiel and continue his sin. So, she took a knife and sliced his throat open so that he bled out profusely.

My apprentice then exited her body and confronted Tamiel who likewise abandoned his body which was now dead. "You are the apprentice of Lucifer?" he said alarmed.

"Any act you take against any woman is an act against me," she said.

"Why do you care?" he asked.

"You have taught women the means which to induce abortion, an herb that can kill the child while it's in the womb. You taught this to the pregnant women so you could then have your own offspring with them," she accused.

"How does this affect you?" he asked dismissively.

"You have taught women how to defy God's will which puts their souls in jeopardy. The souls conceived by these women are denied life by these methods," she said.

"Do you know the toils of man? Have you experienced the pain induced by farming or caring for livestock? And do you know the pain of child birth? This world is painful and sorrowful and these poor creatures have a very limited sense of the Divine. Why do you want more souls to suffer this way?" he asked.

"You ignore the pleasures of this life as well as the purpose of life. This life is to prepare the soul for the next life with the Lord. How can you fully experience the joy of this soul when you have always been in the presence of the Lord?" she said.

"And what does your master think? Is he not the same who desires every human to be condemned? Is he not the one who refused to bow before man? I bowed before man as an obedient servant of the Lord. How is your master better than me?" he said angrily.

"My master hates those who would defile themselves with women so as to fulfill their own lusts. My master hates sin and those who sin in his presence. And yes, he hates you with a passion you cannot comprehend," she said.

"Then perhaps he will hate me more when I humiliate his apprentice," Tamiel said angrily.

And then I saw Tamiel with a sword, a breast plate, a shield, and armor all of which Azazel had inspired for man's use. My apprentice was not armed as Tamiel began his assault on her. My apprentice had time one her side and could avoid all of Tamiel's attack so that he might as well have fought the air. The air cracked like thunder with every swipe.

The two were like enormous flames that reached the sky and yet it was obvious that my apprentice was far superior. But for any human or animal observing, all that could be felt was a strong wind and a powerful heat that burned everything around them.

And after Tamiel had made his strength known concerning his capabilities, my apprentice did reveal her sword and the two struck with their weapons. Tamiel's sword exploded on impact and his breast plate was cut cleanly in half. My apprentice then swiped through Tamiel's body, a mortal wound had he been in human. Tamiel could not die or even bleed; his body was not made of flesh but of fire. So when my apprentice struck him, he did not die but was bound so that he could not move and was blinded. When this occurred, he disappeared from view and could no longer interfere with man for a time.

My apprentice then appeared before the woman she had possessed. The woman had not realized what had happened and thought that she had simply awoken from a deep sleep. My apprentice led her to a village of men who were kind to her and were relatively righteous compared to the others. There she was married and had children.

"Most impressive," I commented concerning her acts.

"He was weak. His mind was clouded by lust," she said of Tamiel.

"Tamiel is under your charge. Do what you want with him," I said.

"There are still nineteen others," my apprentice noted with some uncertainty and sadness.

"The Lord has decreed that these Nephilim be destroyed and that these Fallen Angels be imprisoned," I said.

"And who is leading this charge?" she asked.

"Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, and Raphael have been given this task," I said.

"What will you do?" my apprentice wondered.

"I shall observe them all," I answered.

And it came to pass, that Raphael descended upon the Earth and found Azazel. I watched as the Seraphim clashed with the Cherubim; Azazel was made powerless before Raphael. The Seraphim then put out Azazel's eyes so he could no longer see and then through the use of his sword cut Azazel off from the Lord's presence. Azazel became bound and was thrown into hell where he would feel endless darkness, a total lack of heat, and would constantly feel the sharp edges of stones.

Gabriel came upon the Nephilim and witnessed the war between the Nephilim and the rest of humanity. Gabriel then revealed himself to a holy man named Enoch who led the charge against the Nephilim. Throughout the years, the Nephilim were stronger and well-armed compared to the rest of mankind. Defeat after defeat, man was desperate in their fight against the Nephilim.

"Which side will you support?" my apprentice asked.

I hated humanity for their arrogance against me but I realized the threat the Nephilim posed. My role was to tempt mankind, not exterminate them. If man were to go extinct, how would I learn the Lord's lesson?

"I will side with man," I said.

I then appeared before Garbriel who had taken command of the humans. "I will command the humans. Create dissension within the Nephilim ranks," I said.

"This I will do, but I shall take Enoch with me for I do not trust his fate in your hands," he agreed.

"Agreed," I said.

Garbriel departed from me taking Enoch with him. "Let's see what these humans can do," I said to my apprentice and subordinates.

"Beelzebub, Leviathon, Asmoedus come forth," I ordered.

They then came before and asked me what I desired for them to do. "Lead this army against the Nephilim," I ordered.

"And where are you going?" they asked.

"I sense my brother Michael is entertaining a battle," I told them.

The Lord then surveyed the battle and said onto Gabriel, "Proceed against the biters and the reprobates, and against the children of fornication: and destroy the children of fornication and the children of the Watchers from amongst men and cause them to go forth: send them one against the other that they may destroy each other in battle"

And it came to pass, that civil war broke out among the Nephilim. The two sides fought each other slaughtering each other. My subordinates led the human armies against the Nephilim and man was successful. Beelzebub infected the Nephilim with disease, Asmoedus caused them to lust over women rather than fight for their lives, and Leviathon opened his mouth wide and consumed the Nephilim souls into himself. The human army then cut down the Nephilim until none escaped.

Upon the Nephilim defeat the Lord made proclamations to his Seraphim. To Raphael he said, Bind Azazel hand and foot, and cast him into the darkness: and make an opening in the desert, and cast him therein. And place upon him rough and jagged rocks, and cover him with darkness, and let him abide there forever, and cover his face that he may not see light. And on the day of the great judgment he shall be cast into the fire. And heal the earth which the angels have corrupted, and proclaim the healing of the earth, that they may heal the plague, and that all the children of men may not perish through all the secret things that the Watchers have disclosed and have taught their sons. And the whole earth has been corrupted through the works that were taught by Azazel: to him ascribe all sin."

Then the Lord said onto Michael, "Go, bind Semjaza and his associates who have united themselves with women so as to have defiled themselves with them in all their uncleanness. And when their sons have slain one another, and they have seen the destruction of their beloved ones, bind them fast for seventy generations in the valleys of the earth, till the day of their judgment and of their consummation, till the judgment that is for ever and ever is consummated. In those days they shall be led off to the abyss of fire: and to the torment and the prison in which they shall be confined forever. And whosoever shall be condemned and destroyed will from thenceforth be bound together with them to the end of all generations."

The two hundred Fallen Angels were then thrown into Hell in everlasting punishment for the crimes they had committed. But after their trial, there was unease in the Heavens. Some of the angels wondered why the Lord had been merciful towards me and yet not these two hundred.

Even with the Nephilim gone, mankind fell even to greater depravity. The Watchers had done their damage and the Angels of the Lord could not undo what had been done. I never approved of the Watchers but I did take advantage of the knowledge they had handed down to the humans. It was at this time that the Lord called us Seraphim to himself to discuss the fate of humanity.

"The humans have gone against my will committing violence upon each other and lusting in unnatural ways. They have fallen into idolatry and have committed terrible blasphemies against me. I am sorrowful for their existence," the Lord said.

"If I may be so bold I suggest that the humans be destroyed and that a new rare of worthy creatures replace them. It may take millions of years but evolution may favor a race that will have the intelligence and fortitude to respond positively to your will," I said.

"There is still one man and his family that worship the Lord," Gabriel pointed out.

"What value is there in one man? Surely either he or his descendants will be corrupted," I retorted.

"I am curious as to what he will do," Michael said.

"What is another generation?" Uriel said.

"It is not for me to tell the Lord how he may spend his time or where he should look," I said.

"What do you suggest Gabriel?" the Lord asked.

"Let there be a natural disaster that will destroy these depraved humans but allow Noah to escape the calamity," Gabriel said.

"There is a comet that will hit the Indian Ocean soon. The waters will flood the region," I noted.

"Then let Noah create an ark so that he may escape the flood that is to occur," Gabriel suggested.

"It would be a pity if the animals were to die along with the humans. They have done nothing wrong," my apprentice said.

"I shall instruct Noah to build an ark and in this vessel he shall carry one animals of each sex so that they may be saved," Gabriel said.

"These species will not go extinct because of this flood," I said.

"The humans depend on these animals for their farms and diet," Raphael said. "Noah will require these animals for sacrifice."

"I shall instruct Noah and if he will obey he may be saved. If he refuses the word of God he will be destroyed like the rest," Gabriel said.

"Do as you have said," the Lord commanded.

The Angels of the Lord worked with Noah to complete the ark. I occasionally worked behind the scenes to have Noah's suppliers and laborers murdered. Sometimes they would attempt to defraud him or rape his daughters. Most of what I did was observe and passively orchestrate communities to mock Noah for building a boat on dry land. To my surprise Noah was the kind of person to take orders even if Gabriel's instructions were unnecessarily complex.

My apprentice and I then watched from space as the comet came closer to the Earth. It went through the atmosphere and then slammed into the Indian Ocean creating a 25 kilometer crater on the bottom of the ocean. The explosion from the impact caused massive waves that went through the Mesopotamia region. Noah was warned seven days in advance and so he put as many animals as he could into the ark, which mainly consisted of his livestock. He did not manage to put the millions of species of animals into his ark. The scribes also exaggerated the size of the ark. The miracle is not that Noah was able to put so many animals into his ark, but that it managed to survive the flood without falling apart. The people however were killed by the flood or they died of starvation because of the flood's catastrophic effects on the farms. Shortly thereafter the floods rescinded and Noah saw a rainbow, one of many within his lifetime.

The flood did not cover the entire planet as some have been lead to believe. It only flooded what Noah would consider his own personal "world." Within that perspective Noah put as many animals of the world that he knew of in his ark. This flood from the comet would later be recorded by a number of other civilizations, so by no means did it kill all the wicked or all human beings. Humans would continue to exist on all of the continents of the world, but it did however cut down the number of humans would souls to a small number.

"This flood was not the Lord's judgment against the people for the comet would have arrived regardless of their sins," I said to my apprentice.

"Then what was the judgment?" she asked.

"Their judgment was that they weren't warned of the disaster before it struck. It was the comets that gave this planet water and thus life, but the same comet can also destroy life," I said.

"What shall we do now?" she asked.

"We shall corrupt Noah and his seed until we have corrupted every soul. The game is almost at an end," I said.

After the flood had ended Gabriel and Raphael gave a message to Noah and his family. They were ordered not to eat meat with blood still in it. Raphael wanted to put a special emphasis on healthy diet and it simply made sense not to eat raw meat with blood. Gabriel then gave the command that was one of the first commandments we had given man, which was a prohibition against murder. Whoever killed would be killed. Gabriel then commanded Noah and his family to be fruitful and multiple, which they did.

Now, Noah had three sons named Shem, Ham, and Japheth. As was often the case Noah would get drunk off his own vineyard and then fall asleep without his clothes on. Ham was concerned that he would lose his inheritance if Noah were to have an additional offspring. Being the third son he was already at a disadvantage in comparison to his other brothers. So, while Noah was passed out from drink Han castrated his father.

It was a rather crude thing to do without much in the way of foresight. Of course Noah discovered what Ham had done and he cursed Ham's descendants. That cure would later be manipulated by us to imply that the pagan Canaanites were cursed thus giving the Israelites legitimacy to kill or enslave the Canaanites.

And it came to pass that the descendants of these three brothers would become tribes of people. They then gathered in a settlement with the intention to stay there a great while. The Lord was not pleased with this as he wanted the people to move across the Middle East. Instead these descendants decided to build a tower to the heavens. It was not to honor God but to create a spectacle for themselves honoring their own engineering abilities. We were happy to inspire the engineering of this great tower. Some of them believed in the arrogant notion that they should be allowed a place in the Heavens instead of toiling on the ground. Others believed they could actually wage war against Heaven by shooting arrows from the top of the tower into the sky. Their leader was King Nimrod and we were happy to provide him advice.

The Angels of the Lord countered this tower building by encouraging nearby tribes to move into the area. These tribes had a number of different languages. At first it was of little concern, but then more tribes wanted to be involved in its construction. Strife broke out between the people and then they started to fight each other. It was the first instance of chaotic evil where the wickedness of the people was so great in their murder and thievery that they could no longer cooperate in the evil task of completing the tower.

"The only way to get any construction down on this world is to have one strong leader and everyone else be slaves," I commented.

Finally the tribes left the tower in ruins embittered by the experience. On top of the tower I surveyed the world and I saw how good creation was. "Do you know why I love to be here?" I asked my apprentice.

"Why is that?" she asked curiously.

"It is the only place in the world where I don't have to see this tower," I said.

Shortly thereafter earthquakes shattered the tower and great winds blew tormented it. The top of the tower was destroyed by a fire from lightning, and the poorly constructed bottom fell into the sand. The rest of the tower gradually eroded until it was nothing. The reason for why the tower ruins have never been found is that the construction was so poor and small to begin with that it wouldn't have been noted if not for the scribes.
