In my bare feet and your old shirt I walk

the wind blows and tousles my hair and I think how being cold is

like being with you.

My cheeks flush, my nipples harden, and I shiver

and it's so good.

And I don't miss you but I love you

I don't wish you were here now but I might tomorrow

For now, the wind blows and the rain falls and I feel alive

The trees dance and the storm sprays and I think of how

You laugh when you're happy

Streetlights shine amber and the world glows. It

comes alive at night.

Two scents I love in this world – night air and

you. You're not here now, but the trees are in bloom

and the moon is shining through the clouds.

It's enough.
