A/N: Once again, you'll notice my poetry doesn't rhyme. I don't do that. Rhyming is my kryptonite—I just can't do it, unless it's a complete accident. My rhymes are somewhere between monologues and inner rants. This came to me just out of the blue—I wasn't even meaning to write a poem. It just sort of landed in my mind. I hope you enjoy it…
Summary: Little angel, are you lost? Heaven's much too far from here—you must've broken your wings from falling. –Poem.

Lovely little angel,
Catch me if you can.
Your eyes are wild,
Your face is serene,
But I can't seem to tell the difference.
Your heart is racing,
Trying to see
Past the blinding lights
And through the looking glass.
A song is being sung,
By you?
For you?
I know not the difference
—Again, I must apologize for my lack of thought.
I want your lips,
Your smile,
Your hand in mine.
Did it hurt?
To fall from Heaven—which is where you truly belong—here to Earth?
I'm terribly sorry that I'm so clichéd,
I can't seem to help it around you.
Little angel.
Are you lost here?
Can I help you…
Find your way home?
I promise to stay on track,
And lead you properly.
I won't let you fall,
Back to Earth.
Because Heaven's where you belong.
Not here,
In this ruthless world,
Where the worst horrors are merely blessings,
And the pits of despair come by quite often.
You must miss the other angels.
I bet they miss you too.
I'll miss you too,
When you go.
Because I never did have you long enough.
But I'm not that selfish.
You deserve the peace of life,
—Once again, I must apologize for being so forward.
And you deserve a happy heart.
If you need a new one, take mine.
It might be a little rusty,
As I never did learn how to love
—Before you that is—,
But I'm sure you'll find some use for it.
No really, I insist.
Take it!
It's yours!
I…can't bear to have it without you.
It'll ache too much.
Even with the careful memories
Of beautiful times,
They won't satisfy enough.
Never enough.
Not without you,
Little angel.

A/N: I understand, it's short. So sorry for any of you who were disappointed. I might write a long poem one day. Most probably not, but who knows? I can't see the future. But for now, be satisfied with this little poem that came from a portion of my heart [I think…]
