I stand in the rain

In the woods where you left me

Thunder so loud

Every time I scream your name

It hits my already shattered heart

The cold wind circling around me

Reminds me of you cold arms

Every raindrop falling on my tear stained cheek

Reminds me about the way your lips pressed against my skin

Gentle, yet hard and cold but soft all the same

Every raindrop replacing my tears

Reminds me how you used to used to wipe it off with your thumb

Caressing my warm tear stained cheek

I close my eyes wanting to forget

But I still hear the thunder

Ringing through my ears

Just like your grave dead voice

When you said goodbye

And the raindrops on my forehead

Just like the kiss you gave

Before disappearing into dust
