Prologue:

Dear Michelle,
It has been exactly two months, six days, twelve hours and three minutes since I have last held you in my arms. I miss you. I miss the way you talk and move your hands at the same time, I miss the way you smile, the way you roll your eyes, and the way you kiss me. I miss everything. You must be wondering why out of all the sources of communication, I picked the most defective one, the hand written letter. Well, it is simply because what I am writing to you are feelings that mere talk can not express. So Michelle, I must ask you, how are you doing? How's school? Are you any better at math yet? Just kidding. I know you're a smart girl. Me? I'm okay. Australia is wonderful. Sydney is a beautiful place love, I think you'd really like it here. It's always summer. You'll be glad to hear that. But I'd give up this warm comfort anytime if it meant that I could be with you again. I don't mind enduring the cold winter season. As long as I get to spent time with you Michelle. I wish you could be here. I think about all the places here and all the stuff I'd like to show you. Grandpa says I'm all talk, no action. But you know what? He's fucking wrong. I may not be able to do anything right now but...someday...I swear, I will be right beside you. I'll be back for you. In the mean time, cheesy love letters, late night phone calls, expensive text messages and long e-mails will have to do. Hey, don't be mad. I love you. Just wait for me. I promise I'll make it.
