SUMMARY: These are the poems I've written up to the present. I didn't include everything, but hopefully I included the best work I've done.
Waves
Ye weary, rest
lay your head on the song
don't fear you're transparent, or try to be strong.
The river is endless, the sun looks all wrong
each hour you are willing, each moment not strong.
I'm speaking now not to the world, what is true
on this raft, in these waves, I silently love you.
Don't strive to warm
make the water less blue
in this, in each moment, you're enough and I love you.
Surrender each reason, make today's effort new
as I lead with both hands yet keep you still. I love you.
Don't fight me, I'm trying to teach you to steer
while comforting always. I won't tire, I'm here.
My hand brushes ice
and it isn't that near
then it brushes your forehead...forever, I'm here.

This arose from another of my ideas: that there were things I longed for people to say to me, so perhaps I could write a poem from the perspective of God saying them to me. I tried to make the words flow as if they were waves, coming and going, because waves are something we can see and touch in this world, while God isn't tangible.
