The second we met I loved you,
Little did I know, so did she,
Waiting to dig the knife deeper into my heart.
You wrapped me round your finger,
So unknowingly, so naïve,
And now you leave me stranded.
You kiss her, just a peck of the lips,
My heart stops beating,
It never should have to begin with.
Now I wish we never met,
That my heart could be spared,

So, this is a poem I wrote from my life experience with someone. Me and my best friend both liked him, neither of us knew the other's feelings, he chose her. I'm proud to say I'm over him now, but it was hard for a while. Please review or fav. or both!
