Chapter 6

Still Bellinda's Prov:

"Sweetie, wake up. There's a boy down stairs asking for you. I believe his name is…Seth, was it?" My mom says. My eyes go wide and I bolt straight up and run to my bathroom. "Till him ill be down in a few minutes!" I yell from the bathroom. I do my routine and then run out of the bathroom to my closet and pick out a pair of teal skinnies and a black and purple stripped shirt and undergarments. I then run back to the bathroom and change, and then do my hair, making it kind of curly.

I go my mirror and see that I look good enough and then head downstairs. I get to the bottom and see Seth in the living room talking to my parents. Oh god, what are they doing! I have got to get him out of here! I go to the living room and my dad is asking him all these questions. "Dad, stop asking so many questions! We are going to go for a walk and go get something to eat." I grab Seth's arm and start heading to the door, making sure I have my cell phone, money, and iPod. "I'll be back sometime later! Bye!" I yell. "Uh, bye! It was nice meeting you!" Seth Yells.

"Sorry about my parents, especially my dad. He's very protective of me." I say as we start walking down the side walk. "Oh it's fine. Every dad is protective of their daughter. But they seem nice." Seth says. "Yeah, back in Florida, all my friend's loved my mom. And her cooking is the best! And my dad played football with my guy friends. Everything was great…" Sadness hidden in my voice. "Well, what was the reason to move out here, to New York, if it was so great is Florida?" He asks. "My parents wanted a change. So we moved from sunny Florida, to here…" I reply. "Well, it will get better being here. It's not that bad." I smile as a reply back and we continue walking.

We had just gone to Arby's. I got a few roast beef sandwiches, Seth got chicken strips. We both got a large pop. "So, where should we go now?" I ask. "How about the park? It's a nice day and the park would be fun." Seth says. "Sounds good to me. I was just there the other day too!" I say with a smile. "Yeah, I know. I seen you there and we talked..." "Oh! That's right! Haha, sorry. I'm kind of forgetful sometimes." I say with an embarrassed smile. "Oh no worries. We all have our moments." Seth says with a smile.

We got to the park, there were some kinds on the swings, others playing elsewhere. "How about over there?" I said as I pointed to the big willow tree. "Sure." Seth replied. We went to the willow tree and sat down, resting against it. I was on my last roast beef sandwich.

"So how long have you lived here?" I asked as I took another bite of my sandwich. "I've lived here my whole live." "Jeeze, it must get pretty boring here." I said. "Haha, being here since birth does get pretty boring. But my friends and I always find something to do." "Oh, those guys you were with when you bumped into me?" "When I bumped into you?! It's the other was around." "Well you bumped into me the second time!" I yelled. "Ok ok, I'm sorry." "I accept your apology." I say with a smile.

We talked for what seemed like ages. But it was only for a few hours. We played on the play ground, went exploring, and then sat on the swing; which is where we are now. It looked like a storm was coming, so we started to walk back home.

"Wow, the wind is really blowing!" I said. "I know! Are you cold? Do you want my hoodie?" He asked. "Oh, I'm fine. A bit cold, but I can deal with it." I said. He took off his hoodie and put it on me. "Um, thanks." "Yeah. You looked way colder then what you said." "Oh. Well, thank you." "You're welcome." He said with a smile.

We got back to my house and we said goodbye. He walked to his house, looked at me, smiled, and then walked into his house. Then I walked into mine. "I'm home!" I yelled. My mom came in and greeted me and gave me hot coco. I said goodnight and then I walked up to my room and closed the door.

I got ready for bed, looked out my balcony window with my hot coco in my hand. I saw Seth in his room. He came by his balcony window, and then looked out it at me. I smiled and waved. He did the same. I mouthed goodnight and he did the same. We waved once more and then headed to bed.
