'No', I sort of mumbled, still in a sleepy state. Desperately for some extra sleep, I pulled the blankets over my head, and tried to ignore my stupid alarm clock.

When it rang for about five minutes, I decided to get out. As soon as my feet touched to cold wooden floor, I was immediately awake.

I grabbed my bathrobe, some clothes, a towel and my toiletries and headed to the bathrooms.

When I had set my alarm clock, yesterday, I decided that I wanted to shower before school started, so I had set it a half an hour earlier. So it was only an half an hour earlier than usual, and there was absolutely no one in the girls' bathroom, no one.

Can you believe it, no one, in a girl's bathroom an hour for school, it was like a miracle.

I stepped in one of the showers, and put my clothes in the little cabins, so it stayed dry.

While I quickly showered, I heard some other girls come inside, and one by one showers turned on. I quickly finished, and used my powers to remove to water from my body. Why I did bring the towel with me, I couldn't remember, I guess I just forget that I could use my powers.

Or it was a habit, most of the time I dries myself of with a towel, but sometimes I didn't feel like it, and used my powers to do it.

Really useful those water bending powers. When I was finally ready, with doing my hair, a bit of make-up and other stuff, I had still an hour. I returned to my tree and grabbed my bag with my school stuff, and of course, my phone. When I walked out of my tree, I saw Chelsea coming out of her tree.

'Hey Chels!' I called, and she looked in my way, and when she saw me, she smiled and walked to me.

'Hey Cas, good morning. First day of school', she said in a tired and not really enthusiastic voice.

'Yeah, good morning to. I'm heading to the cafeteria, are you coming with me?'I asked and she nodded, a smile forming on her lips. Chelsea was now the only girl I could talk to. Okay, I had Irina, but she was still sleeping. I heard from Kai that she was awake a couple of times, but at those time the headmaster was with her, not us. It didn't really matter to me, she needed rest at the moment, and that was the most important thing. Right now she didn't need me spilling my heart out to her.

We walked in silence to the cafeteria, sometimes saying things about the weather, or clothes, or other small talks things. It was a nice silence, not an uncomfortable one. Although Chelsea was a kind of happy bubble, she could also be nice and silent, not that she wasn't nice when she was talking. God, I'm rambling, but you understand me, do you?

When we finally entered the cafeteria it was already quite full, at least the main floor.

The cafeteria existed of five floors, the main floor was basically the kitchen and a few tables. The other floors where filled with tables.

It wasn't really a big tree, so they had to build as many floors as possible, and that were five, and a half, so that's why the fifth floor is taller than the other. We walked to the lunch table, and I grabbed a slice of breath, and only what butter. I was one of those few who ate breath in the morning, instead of cereals or something like that.

'Shall we look upstairs for a table, I don't like sitting on the main', Chelsea said and I nodded. I didn't like it either to sit on the main floor. People where walking in and out all the time, and you couldn't eat your food in peace. We took a seat on the first floor and were soon joined by the boys.

'Do you two have a different schedule, or not?' Phil asked.

I was still eating my bread, so I shook my head. It was disgusting to talk with your mouth still filled with food. You see the food mangled and stuff, and it sticks to your teeth, it's just disgusting.

'No, it's still the same', Chelsea said, not really understanding what he meant.

'Why do you ask?' I said, when I finally had cleaned my mouth.

'Because my schedule is completely different, and it seems like I'm the only one, with a changed schedule', he said irritated.

'Is it so bad?' Chelsea asked, but surprisingly he shook his head.

'The why are you angry?' I asked.

'Because all my classes are now with girls. All of them. Only in two of them are you guys in my class. It's just not fair. A whole year with girls', he said dramatically, and threw his hands in the air.

'O no, that's just so bad', I said with sarcasm in my voice.

'You don't understand it Cas. I have to deal a whole year whit girls chatting about make-up, and boys. And worst of all, I have to run to every class, I'm already being chased with girls, imaging a whole class filled with them', he said and I did understood his point. I think if I was in his shoes I would feel the same, not.

Chelsea and I looked at each other and burst out into laughter.

'Ha-ha, sorry Phil, but, ha-ha, you', Chelsea tried to say something through her laughter's, but that didn't quite help, so she decided to just stop.

'What. Why are you laughing? Chelsea! Guys do something!', Phil almost yelled dramatically.

'Sorry Phil. You're worn fault. You're just such a drama queen', Michael said, looking seriously at Phil. Phil just grimaced, and shrugged, dropping the subject. No one was going to take his side, so why even bothering to explain it further.

'Sorry Phil, but Michael is right. Just wait and see, maybe it isn't all that bad. Maybe you meet someone nice', I said, trying to make him feel better. Again he just shrugged.

When we were finally done with eating our breakfast, we all stood up and headed to the class rooms. Luckily the class rooms were close to each other, or else you had to walk a half an hour until you've finally reached your classroom.

So we headed to the class rooms, and when we finally reached, the sort of like village, we headed in different areas.

Phil heading to the Math room, Michael and Chelsea to the Elemental History, and Michel to Languages and I headed to the Normal History room.

The class hadn't begun yet, so there were still a few seats free. I sat on one of the remaining seats in the back. The back seemed always the perfect place for me, the teacher didn't notice you very often, and it was most of the time quiet in the back, something what actually amazes me a bit.

In every other normal high school the back would be full, even before class started, people desperately trying to avoid the attention of the teacher, which you actually would get more often if you sat in the back of a normal high school. But here the first row was most of the time full, people desperate to get the teacher attention, or just wanting to perform more.

I didn't really know why they would sit in the front, but I was fine with sitting in the back. The bell sounder, signaling the beginning of the first hour, and people began the walk in the room. Most of them taking their former seats, other sat down somewhere else.

I was paying attention to the door, waiting to see Kai walking in.

The second bell rang, and still no Kai.

The teacher began to speak, first asking if we all had a nice vacation, I said nothing. When we all mumbled something, some people saying enthusiastically yes, some a little less enthusiastic, some saying that it was alright, the teacher finally started the lesson.

Subject of this semester, the Revolution, something which wasn't spoken about very often, because it was more a European thing, I think.

Suddenly the door slammed open, and in the doorway standing an irritating looking Kai. So he decided to show up.

'Mister Kai, nice to see you here. Take a seat, and please, be a little bit more careful with the door next time', Mr. Brown said and Kai nodded.

Kai walked further into the class room, searching for a free seat, or maybe someone to sit with. I turned my attention back to my notebook and started writing things down Mr. Brown mentioned earlier. I head suddenly something screeching next to me, and when I looked up, I saw Kai sitting down next to me.

He didn't even look at me, but grabbed his notebook and started writing the notes that Mr. Brown had written down on the board.

So much for being nice.

I ripped a small piece of one of the papers of my notebook and wrote something down, and passed it to Kai. He looked at me skeptical but still read the note. He scribbled something down and gave it back to me.

I'm gonna visit Ina after school. Coming with me?

Whatever. 3 At the Library?

I looked at him and nodded. He gave me a small nod back and turned back to his paper, again writing down notes.

I also turned my attention back to the teacher, and continued with my notes.

When the school bell rang again, signaling end of the first hour, Kai quickly stood up and was out of the room before I could even blink an eye.

So much for asking when my next lesson of fire bending is. I shrugged my shoulders.

Maybe next time.

'Hey Cas. Come on. We have Elemental Training', I heard Chelsea call, already standing in front of the gym. I took a sprint, and walked together with Chelsea in the girls change room. We were one of the first to enter, and also one of the first who were inside the gym.

We sat down on the floor, and waited for the rest of them.

This part of the gym, where the Elemental training is given, is absolutely the most amazing class room.

The room was diverted in a couple of areas, one a bit bigger than the other one, and some small ones.

You can probably already guess what the smallest one was. Yeah, good guess, it was the water section. We didn't need that much space as the other ones, and our section contained only deep pond, enough water for at least ten people.

Next to the water section was the fire section, with a couple of fires in it, although most fire bender could create fire themselves.

Water and fire were at the back of the gym, in the middle were the section of the earth and air bender. Nothing special there, only a stroke of grass.

The remaining room was used for the other sections, some had tools in it, other grass. They didn't exactly use those things, because they didn't need them.

Phil, Michael and Michel walked in, and after the, Kai walked out of the boys room.

After a couple of minutes, everyone of our year was in the gym, and the teacher, a strong build woman with the name Miss. Ulrich, you already guessed, it was a German woman, stood for us, and eyed everyone coldly.

She hated most girls, I don't know why, probably because most of them whined a lot, but for me and Chelsea, and also Irina she had always a weak spot, I think. Maybe because we were the only girls who tried to get along with the boys, and trying to be better than them.

'Good morning everyone', she said in a booming voice, and immediately everyone answered with a 'Good morning Miss Ulrich'.

'Okay, today we're going to it a little bit different', she said. Although she came from Germany a couple of years ago, she spoke perfectly English, only sometimes a little bit of her accent slipping through.

'Okay. Everyone go to your own section and when you're in it close your eye', when everyone was in their section and had closed their eyes, I heard Miss Ulrich take some steps, and after that her booming voice, some meters away from me. I guess everyone near me was a startled and probably had jumped in fright.

'Okay, everyone, turn a couple of times around, but try not to get dizzy, water section, I will stop you if you're close to falling in the water', she said, and I nodded, and felt crazy for doing it.

'Go', she said and everyone started to turn around in circles.

'3, 2, 1, and stop!' She yelled, and probably everyone stopped turning around in circles. I felt myself sway a little, and I was completely disorientated.

'Okay, Put your hands in front of you, and start walking around. Try to watch out for the fires everyone, I depend on that you can feel them, and while you're walking around, I'm standing at the edge of the little pond here, so you don't fall in, and get soaked', she said, and blow on her whistle. Everyone started walking, probably with their arms in front of them.

'O, I forgot to tell. It's the meaning that you find someone of another section, and that will be your partner for the rest of this year. If you've found someone of your own section, close your eyes again, and start searching further. Some people mumbled a yes, and started searching for someone. I let my senses take over, and tried to concentrate on my hearing and feeling, I didn't concentrate on my eyesight, because that sight was useless right now. I also concentrated on the coolness around me, trying to find the warmth of a body.

'Okay good job Michael and Chelsea. And now sit down against the wall, that way you won't be in the way for other people.

Nice job Chels, I thought, and suddenly touched someone. I opened my eyes, and saw Phil smiling at me.

'Sorry Phil and Cascadia. Try searching further', I heard Miss Ulrich said from behind me, and I quickly closed my eyes again.

It was hard for me not trying to peek, but I wanted to play this game fair, so I kept my eyes closed.

There were already a couple of people who got paired up, and I figured out that there weren't many left.

I felt something warm at right and I quickly turned around and took a step further, my hands searching for a body. When I found none, while it kept getting hotter, I quickly remembered the fires, so I turned around and headed in another direction.

Again I felt something warm, but this time at my left side. I carefully took a step and my hand came in contact with a soft material, probably from clothes, the warmth under need it strangely familiar.

I opened my eyes, and looked at a black shirt. I averted my gaze and met the brown almost black eyes, from Kai.

'Hey partner',
