Why must we all
Go through such pain?
Will you let us
Be pushed insane?
Must more of your
Children feel strain?
Or will you have
Us drown in rain?

Are we graded
On learning curve?
Should we keep straight
Or should we swerve?
Will we be pushed
Past our last nerve?
Is this what we
Really deserve?

Shall we pray for
A hero's bus?
Or keep quiet
Not make a fuss?
Break our own souls
Dance, cry, and cuss?
Dear God, why won't
You answer us?
