Hey, I know it has been a super long time since I have updated this story but there are a couple reasons behind that. First off, college does take up a lot of my time so that is a big factor but also I wasn't sure what I really wanted to do. I could of gone a couple different ways with this story and I couldn't decide for a long while. But I chose and I hope you like it and thanks for being so patient.

It had been about two months since the treaty was signed and everything seemed to have fallen into normalcy...well kind of. Things happened very rapidly in the wolf pack and because I lived with Mel and she was one of the elders I got all the updates whether I wanted them or not. Jamie had appointed/ married one of the male wolves that was suitable to be king. Jamie had also made this marriage completely a business arrangement much to the disappointment of the male werewolf. Then within the same day of declaring the marriage was strictly business she came out to her whole pack and even though she is not my favorite person, I was glad to hear the pack excepted it and excepted her. Then she announced her leave to mourn her parents death properly which was also excepted by the pack. But did she go to a far away place to be alone so she could reflect and get herself together? No. She went right to Taylor's apartment which urged me to no end because Taylor welcomed her back with open arms. Damn wolf, I thought and shook my head.

"Are you brooding again?" Mel chuckled and sat down besides me.

"Maybe"

"Well don't," she said and kissed my temple, "There is no reason to"

"Yeah, for you"

"Oh yes, because it is the end of the world the Taylor and Jamie are back together...I forgot" she rolled her eyes.

"Don't mock me, you know that mutt is trouble as well as I do"

"She's no more trouble than you are honey. Now relax"

That got me to smirk and I pulled Mel so she was closer to me. Mel and I had actually been doing good throughout this whole time of craziness. Even though I was reluctant to admit it at times, I loved her and surprisingly she loved me to. She had even been talking about us becoming business partners instead of me just working in the office. That was good news for me...I hated paperwork. We sat and watched TV for a while until I got a text from Taylor.

-Hungry? :)

I smiled, the mutt must have left to go to the pack for a while. I didn't bother answering the text because it would only take me about three minutes to get there anyway. I kiss Mel,

"I'll be back in a little bit"

"Okay, be careful"

I rolled my eyes she always said that when I left, either to annoy me or to convey actual concern? I have no idea. I got to Taylor's quickly and knocked on the door. She opened it and gave me a hug,

"Hey" she said.

"Hey, what's up?"

She shrugged, "Nothing much"

I sat down and she straddled me like always. I only took a short drink because I had just drank from her a week ago, which lead me to believe she had something to tell me.

"So...did you want to talk?"

She smiled, "How'd you know?"

I shrugged and let her continue.

"Well it's more that I wanted to tell you something," she paused like she was psyching herself up, "Jamie is moving in with me"

My mood fell and I pursed my lips, "Wonderful" I said dully.

She put her hand on my knee, "I don't want you to be pissed and I'm not telling you to rub it in or anything. I just wanted you to know"

"Yeah, well Mel and I are moving to Scotland" I said.

I said this to first of all, tease her because I didn't want to get annoyed but my statement had some truth to it. Not the Scotland part but Mel and I were thinking of moving to another apartment closer to the office. She found one that she liked better and it had a smaller kitchen and a bigger living room which worked out for us.

"What!?" her expression was alarmed.

I laughed and as soon as I did that she scowled, "You're an asshole"

"Just teasing, well kind of"

Her eyes got wider again, "What do you mean kind of?"

"Well Mel and I are thinking about moving, just not to Scotland. She found this apartment closer to the office and it's bigger with a nicer bathroom, bigger living room, smaller kitchen, three bedrooms...you know, all around better. So we were thinking about buying it"

She let out a breath, "Don't scare me like that. And you are both buying it or is Mel?"

"We both are. I have some money saved up and obviously Mel has money so both our names will be attached to it"

"Wow," she said, "Sounds nice"

"When is she moving in" I said getting back to the main subject.

"She's going to start bringing some stuff either tomorrow or Friday"

I nodded, "Well, hope it works out" I forced myself to say.

But I'm glad I said it because her eyes lit up,

"Really?" she smiled.

"Yeah"

She hugged me tight and kissed my cheek,

"Thanks Clo, you don't know how much that means"

I smiled, "You're welcome. I'll see you later okay?"

We hugged one last time and I ran back to Mel apartment. When I sat down next to her she put her hand on my leg.

"What's the news?"

"They're moving in together"

She nodded slowly, "What did you say to that?"

"I said I hope it works out"

Mel paused and looked at me, then her face softened and she smile, "I'm proud of you Cloie"

I laughed, "Thanks"

"No, I really am. That was big of you, especially since she is your First Blood"

"Thanks Mel" I said more sincerely, "I also told her about us maybe moving" I added.

She nodded, "Okay, I really do want that place"

I was a little surprised with myself too. I never thought I would be able to except them two being together especially because of how it happened but I am beginning to except it. Now that doesn't mean I like it but I can try and be happy for Taylor because we have our own kind of relationship. Plus I have Mel and I want to be with he so even if Taylor was single again, I would stay with Mel anyway. It seems like everything is working out, at least in my life which is a very rare occurrence. It does make me nervous because I feel like something should be going wrong but for now I'm just going to go with the flow and see what happens.

A/N: This is the last chapter of this story but, I don't plan on ending it completely. I will announce now that I am planning on writing another story that is a continuation of this one. I have some ideas floating around so I hope I can start writing soon. Once again I want to thank everyone that had been reading my stories and everyone who has been sticking with me this whole time, it means a lot! So thanks again for reading and please review.
