Just a little song I wrote about being a bit outside the norm; being different just to rebel against the things that people see as normal. So, yeah, I'm a rebel. Why not?

"Rebellion" Originally Written in January of 2010:

I see a girl sitting there, on the side of the road

It's Saturday, getting dark, and it's getting cold

Sharpie on her jeans, ink on her skin

She's dreaming of her coming win

Victory

She's got a battle plan

Victory

Her destiny's in her hands

xxx

She's a pioneer, a lone flame, and she's leading a fight

She just knows she's going down in history tonight

A battle to the death, someone's gonna die

And it's not gonna be her life

Victory

She takes the stage tonight

Victory

Standing up for her right

xxx

It's a Rebellion! against the world

All of them against one girl

The Rebel's gonna die

She can't win this fight

xxx

Look at myself in the mirror and I can see

The Rebel girl, she is there, inside of me

She's screaming to get out, waiting for me to break

See just how long, how long it'll take

Victory

She's got a battle plan

Victory

My destiny's in her hands

xxx

It's a Rebellion! against the world

All of them against one girl

But she won't die so easily

She just won't accept defeat

xxx

I'm the Rebel! in this fight against time

Gonna win, now! it's my time to shine

'Cause you won't keep me down

No you can't keep me down, down, down...

xxx

It's a Rebellion! against the world

All of them against one girl

But I won't die so easily

I' not accepting defeat!

You can't put out my fire!

I won't surrender!

It's a Rebellion! doing it my way

And you can't keep me down!

xxx

OH YEAH!

How's that for ridiculous teenage rebellion, huh? Wrote this when I was VERY VERY angry at a certain "authority figure." I guess I really am a Rebel.
