It isn't enough to ingest it…

Savor it

Let it follow your tongue

And glide over your gums

Gritty & Powdered & Liquefied

Let it blister your nose

And burn all the way down

Make it stick to the roof

Of your mouth like peanut butter

& wedge it between your front teeth

You'll find it sitting on your taut floss

Let it haunt you in the night

& breathe out stale with your breath in the morning

You wash it out with the crust in your eyes

But it gets caught in your bed head
