Do See It?

Do you see what I do see?

Pain, sorrow, and misery.

Do you hear what I do hear?

Hushed screams not heard by ones defend ear.

Do you feel what I do feel?

Broken tears paint the faces of all that fear.

Pain and sorrow dwell right here,

In your home my sweet dear.

This pain you feel will destroy you if you stay.

But can you see what I do see?

The lost and broken are everywhere!

Can you hear what I do hear?

Silent cries for hope from all that fear!

Do you feel what I do feel?

Pain, and sorrow, and corruptness they are all here!

But why do you not see these things?

Are you really that naive?

That you cannot tell?

It feels as though hope is so far away...

To never return.

Come with me my love, I pray!

We must go away, far away!

And seek hope before you too,

Have become lost.
