Bleeding Lips

(…)

Now my children, gather round.

This is a tale of love, death, life, life after death, and the bitter cold encompassing us all.

()

Have you ever seen that person? So beautiful yet cruel, their face like an Angel, flushed with blood that runs cool.

Bleeding heart throb, tempter of faith, undying lust, lovers of hate.

Walkers of the night, yet shadows of the day, do you fear them, do they fill you with dismay?

()

Those bleeding lips like blood stained snow, looking so warm yet feeling so cold.

They offer you, a chance at life, all you can do is stare into, those bleeding lips that are so bold.

Fear fills your soul, as you choke down, the life of death, until you drown.

You are now born, unto this earth, through your own death, blood gains new birth.

()

You stalk the night flirting with moon beams, you prowl in silence and all is as it seems.

Your prey in sight is two bright souls, in seconds you sum up their tolls.

The first one falls, they taste of sun, and unreached goals still not begun.

The second one is something odd, they freely spill their blood to you.

Their sacrifice and your icy heart, is torn in two.

()

We own the night together now, our lips stained red we notice the snow.

So pure at heart, yet to be stained, like echoes that still remain.

A red drop falls, onto the white, from our pulsing lips, a remnant of the bite.

Bloods embrace, bleeding kisses, unity of death, my snow cold heart it misses.

()

Biting down unto creation, blood flows freely without hesitation.

Crying softly in the cradle, death has new birth at our table.

Three lives through death, goblets of blood, serving the cold...

We died so young, yet live so old.

(…)

Man this song is old... about two years or more.

Time for a little commentary.

The first chapter is of the person finding a vampire and being enchanted by their charm.

(Gender isn't really important but i'm a guy so it was a guy enchanted by a female vampire)

The chorus is about the transformation into a vampire and the last moments of human life.

The second part is the new vampire out enjoying themselves.

What was supposed to be a meal turned into something more when one human (Him or her I don't care) tries in vain to offer themselves to save a friend.

That one is welcomed by the vampire and joins (Him or her take your pick)

The chorus here is the same as before just now for the second vampire.

The third verse is shared by the two vampires as they discover love.

Now the chorus changes to something else in meaning.

The fourth and final addition is the tale of their child being born.

This was the meaning change from the third chorus.

All in all, the opening line from before the song, is of one of the parent vampires telling their child.

Well... I've wasted enough time.

Good Night, Live Life, And Why Are My Lips Bleeding.
